For me, Hive journey seems to be a career based journey. I am now committed to this platform, which was started for a time pass. Most of us are here to make an investment by entertaining others wiith our inspiring articles.

Convincing someone to get into this decentralized platform is possible, by constantly appreciating the positive side of this journey. People having a liking towards writing or basically having an inert talent / skill, will no doubt enjoy this platform.
Unlike other social medias, a person can exhibit his talent in the space provided for him ie., the particular community. For instance, a person interested in cooking can post in Plant ppwer vegan, (or) Foodies Bee hive (or) Hive food tx. Like wise a person interested in writing stories can post in Stories or Life communities. The list is endless...
Initially, it was my son who forced me to join this community, though he was not much into this. But slowly I convinced him on photography community, which was his passion. Though he started with an article, he was not able to be consistent because of his tight work schedule. So for time being he is concentrating on his work.
Hive is Always special to me
I am happy to continue something which I stopped long back - writing what I love to. The best part being we can write & post topics related to prompts from various communities. Initially, it wasn't easy, but gradually the slow learning process forced me to be, where Iam now.
I had the freedom to enjoy my own benefits, from the little I earned. A joyous moment indeed. i shared this happiness with my family by helping them in their little needs. Those were real moments when I felt happy with in me.
Beaides earning opportunities, making new friends, makes it easy for the young and old to make use of this platform in a wise way.
