Everyone has that particular thing they do that gives them comfort; seeing that life is not rosy, we need that thing to make us happy and joyous, that thing that when we do, we will find solace and rest. I mean that thing that, no matter how you are feeling down and low, that particular thing will spur you up and make you have a reason to be very happy.
For me, I love cool and good music to make me feel calm. Those times I need to be alone, especially those times that things are not just working very fine, I need to listen to very good music that will not just make me feel happy but will drive me to the place of comfort.
I would always say that music replaces death with life; it makes me see life in reality; it has the power to communicate things that look very impossible as if they were very possible, and I am always left with no choice but to listen to good music.
I remember that last week, things were looking like they were not working, and I was so sad and not okay, but I needed to go to my music library to search for a song that would spur me on. When I found the song, I just needed to listen to it till the next day.
Music has the power to even change your mood, but it depends on the kind of genre you listen to. Music holds a lot of things in it. I would say that the lyrics matter too. I love a song that has hopeful lyrics because it will not just make you happy, but it will also make you see the reason to live and not give up.
Music is just like talking to the person you are in love with; it makes you feel so safe and makes you happy and comfortable. The rhythm, the sound, etc.
Good music also depends on the vocalisation and also depends on good instrumentation too. If you just listen to a crazy chord, it will just send so many signals to you.
