Namaste,
I decided earlier today that I will engage in other communities too but this specific travel which I'm going to share doesn't gets justified if I share it in any other communities.
It was the day 3rd of December and I with all of my maternal cousins visited out native maternal house in siwan, bihar.
My maternal uncle who is a lawyer insisted on taking us to ziradei which is around 15km from siwan. We agreed onto it because our maternal grandparents are quite strict and they doesn't allow kids to roam so we were quite happy about it.
On reaching Ziradei, I realized it's the birthplace of the 1st president of our country, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
He wasn't just the 1st President of independent India, also one of the major freedom fighter and important hand in our current republic India. His contribution to India was immense also he contributed in literature by being of author of quite famous events like champaran and few other.
All of this information was known to me back then too but that place which was expected to provide more information didn't contributed at all. That place was not properly taken of by the Archeological department of Survey Of India.
It is a major tourist attraction but still to this day not alot of people are aware of that place because specifically the state doesn't contribute much in the presence of history.
That place doesn't consist of any personal belongings of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, just have some bed or wooden cupboard. Rest of the rooms are all empty. The villages also doesn't contributed anything for that place, there was not a single book store selling the books or just showcasing the work done by him. Or any restaurant nearby that place that could make a stop for the tourist.
We're struck with Kohinoor, but there's alot history unnoticed in our own country.
Thanks for reading.
