I have come to realize that there is nothing you cannot do when you have enough patience in some cases. Although, sometimes, some people will say patience is not a virtue, I will say, in some cases, patience is a virtue. Whenever I want to share a post like this, I always make sure that I have a valid reason before sharing, or I make sure that I have experienced it before I come out here to talk about it. Because this will make it easier for me to be able to express myself in any way I want to do it. When you have experienced something, you will have the idea on how to encourage or advise others about the same thing.
Yesterday happened to be the day that was scheduled for my monthly clearance. And we do this every week with our monthly CDs. During the monthly CDS (community development scheme), we submit our CDS card to show that we have attended the cds for that month, and it will be signed as proof that we were around. Sometimes, due to the fact that I don't stay close to where my place of primary assignment (PPA) is, I have to travel down and make sure that I meet up with the time that has been stipulated for my batch. But the last general cds that was observed last week came to me unaware, and I decided not to go, but I told my friend to help me with attendance, which I should have not done.
When I got to the local government to sign my clearance and my cds card, I discovered I could not find my card, and I went straight to the exco. They were saying lots of stories that I don't understand, and I know that if I should just stand and not take actions, I might not be able to do clearance for the new month. So, I have to go through another way and ask for the attention of the president of my CDs group. When we eventually got to the assistant LGI office, she checked through and she found that I did not attend the general cds that occurred last week and said she will not sign my clearance card. Immediately, I explained myself to her, but still she will not accept my plea. Then I said it within myself that I had to let her mind settle down before I laid any further complaint.
After some minutes of waiting, she then called me and told me to tell her the truth about the whole matter. Then I explained to her, but the first name she saw that someone wrote for me made her not accept all that I said. I decided to wait again, but she already told me to wait; she was going to help me and the other guys beg the LGI to allow us for this month and not give us a query letter. So, I was happy. Along the line, I saw another person with the same issue as mine and the proof the person used to bail himself out. So, I told her I have the same proof, which was the Gmail response that was sent after the last two cds and I showed her, and she said I have been patient enough, and she told me what to do, and she answered me before attending to any other person. This feels too good and also like a relief to me, and then I know that there are some things patience can do and it will not cost you anything.
