Welcome back,
Crypto market is doing good right now. Bitcoin is trading above $88,000 and I can see people shouting and calling out alt season once again. I do not know when people will learn about the current market situation, which is totally different from the past cycles we have witnessed in history.
In the year 2017, the cycle just before the last cycle, things were very different and the crypto market was like a baby. It was just growing and people could play along with it very easily.
Then the market got a little mature, altcoins started to come into the market and liquidity flowed there as well. So the opportunity of making 10x, 20x, or even 50x was possible.
But now in the year 2025, the projects that are here with good use cases are struggling to even give you 2x or 3x. They are all down by 80%, 70%, or at least 60% from their recent prices.
The reason behind this is the maturity in the market that has evolved and also the number of tokens which have risen tremendously. Now, while the rise in number could have been a positive thing for the market, I think it has been a disadvantage to the entire crypto market because the majority of the projects are meme coins and shit coins.
They are here to just milk the liquidity from good projects and that is why we cannot see a majority of the good projects making a nice move.
So while Bitcoin is trading above $88,000 already, I think we should not get cocky and we should not get excited about the move that will take us above $100,000.
I think it is very important to watch the market for the next few days to make a decision on where the market will go from here. I am going to look at the market and as usual, I am going to hold my bags.
If you have not sold your spot bags until now, then you should not sell them and hold them because the market is definitely going to give you an opportunity to exit in a better position.
I do not know what that better position will be, maybe 3x from here or 4x from here but probably better than where it is trading right now.
Do your own research and take decisions because, at the end of the day, it is your money and you have to decide what you want to do with it.
