When I was younger, I used to support a football team.
I still support that team, but not as passionately and fanatically as in the past.
One reason is because I couldn't stand the negative emotions that I felt whenever my team lost, and losing also had a negative impact on my life, in general, which I didn't like.
Another reason is that, growing up, I realized the real value of amateur sports.
For example, even going for a jog or a walk can greatly benefit my health and mood, which I sometimes prefer to just sitting there and passionately watching a match as a spectator.
