It's a common phenomenon in our world today that learning, studying, or school has no ending; it's a continuous thing. The only thing is that learning or school has stages, and at the end of each stage, one would be called a graduate, and the person can decide to proceed from that stage of graduation to another level.
My advice to anyone leaving school would be the following:
Keep learning and studying: In this stage of the world we are in now, knowledge is a breadwinner. Once one stops getting filled with knowledge, then one is set to be left out, especially in this age of technology. Anyone leaving school should not stop learning to gain knowledge. The person should not say because they are done with schoolwork and books, therefore, they are not going to read again or learn anything. It is advised that one must catch up with trends in order to stay updated in the moving train of life. Even though the graduate has money or got a job immediately after school, they must keep reading books, keep observing things, and learn them.
Learn a skill or a trade: For someone who is graduating and has only school-book knowledge, then it's very much advisable for such a person to go into learning a skill or a trade and master it. The stage of the world today is such that depending solely on academic qualifications might be a disadvantage to a graduate because it is very difficult to secure a job as a graduate. The ruling thing now is having a skill which one can utilise into something profitable, either by owning a business or getting employed in a company that needs the skill. When I graduated from school, I saw the necessity of this and I went to learn how to fix doors and windows in buildings. Although I haven’t really utilised the knowledge in making ends meet for myself, the knowledge is intact and I'm going to venture into it once my plans work out.
Thanks!
