**Theme: Which website or application do you spend most of your time on? **
Answer
Due to the nature of my work at the moment, I can't spend time doing things that I'm passionate about as I only get weekends to pursue the things I love. Surfing the internet is a favourite pastime of mine for the simple reason that I see it as a gateway through which I can gain a wealth of knowledge, and knowledge is power we all know. So I use the internet for achieving tasks I would normally have to invest time, money, and travel for.
There are a lot of websites that I came across in my undergraduate days and which even up until now, I still visit as regularly as possible. Google is a great search engine which have literally helped me gain tremendous knowledge on varied topics and therefore remains my most favourite website.
I understood early enough that the less time I spent on social media, the better for me, my mental health and the more realistic my life would be. So for that reason, I hardly use Facebook, yes I do have an account but I feel it's a huge waste of time and data, spending time there.
I love watching YouTube videos because there are some amazing videos on many categories that is truly beneficial to me. I have learnt lots of DIYs and How Tos through its videos, which has kept me so enlightened.
I also use WhatsApp a lot because it's the easiest and cheapest way to connect to friends and family but my usage was at its peak when I was an undergraduate because that was our primary means of communicating with our lecturers and our class representatives, for updates.
Then comes my most loved application, Ecency. Here I spend almost every of my free time everyday, mostly reading posts, commenting and putting up my own post. This addiction is since I joined the Hive platform months ago and as a new Hivean, I found it easier to navigate through the app. Everything I learnt about Hive, Ecency was there all the way, yeah it's more like my girlfriend now, because I actually started using it more post break up. It was also my anti depressant because it took me out of depression in a very short time.
I recommend Ecency for every newbie I have ever come across.
