It's the beginning of a brand new year, and firstly I'd like to wish you a happy new year and prosperous days ahead. Being a new year, it's common for many people to come up with different things they'd like to achieve or work on during the course of the year; those things or goals are often referred to as New Year's resolutions. I myself am no stranger to New Year's resolutions, as I've on several occasions laid them down, and they go on to be the focal point that pushes and hastens my step towards a positive direction that brings about fulfillment. So since another new year is here, what is my New Year's resolution?
To be honest, I've got a lot of things and goals I'd like to accomplish before the year runs out; these are some dreams I've nurtured for years, and to be honest, it'll be a dream come true if I can bring them to reality this year. However, for this year, I don't really want to burden myself with lots of things; instead, I mostly want to focus on my family and ensure they're well provided for and have a great year. I'm sure you'll be wondering why I want to mainly be family-oriented and not merge it up with chasing my dream on the side and the likes. Well, I'll tell you why below.
The main reason is because I had taken lots of steps in the previous year that rendered me poor financially, although I'm talking about it in the opposite direction, so given the tons of financial burden I carried last year and how it left my financial state, I won't want to continue in that trend for my mental health and wellness's sake. So instead of delving into something of that nature again, I'd rather just take a break so I won't be entirely drained in my bid to bring my dreams to reality. So that's my first reason.
The second reason why my resolution for the year is mainly based on being family-oriented is because I recently got married, and I know that brings about great responsibility. So in order for me to fend for my family well enough, I don't want to rush into rash decisions, and given the fact that I just began a family, who knows if a child will come into the picture before the year runs out? So in light of that, I don't want to be caught unprepared, so I'm trying to have both the mental and financial capacity to prepare for those events without getting tangled in different things that can weigh me down.
So that's about it on why my New Year's resolution is to be family-oriented and be ready for whatever presents itself for my family and me this year, especially when it comes to additions to our household. Being able to get this done perfectly without any issues will make me happy and fulfilled, so I'm hoping everything goes well.
