Hello, Namaste, Sastriyakal, Ram Ram to all Hive users. Today, I'll share with you the story of Golu devta, "God of justice," told by my grandfather. Though there are many types of Goludevta, such as Chitai, Gairad, Ghorakhal, Kaparkhan, and Champawat, means different temples of Golu Devta. One of the most famous Golu Devta temples is in Almora. Chitai Mandir is the most famous temple of Almora, where many people from different States and even from other countries come to visit. And there's a different principle of this temple that people write their wishes on paper, and if their wishes come true, they donate and hang a bell in the temple. That's why Chitai Golu Devta is known as "God of justice.

There is a mystery behind the biggest bell in the Chitai mandir and the temple's boundary, about which my grandfather told me. Once, a mayor of Champawat was travelling through Almora (I don't know the mayor's name), and his driver was a pahadi, and the mayor was a bihari, and he didn't believe in Golu devta, and when they passed through Chitai mandir, his driver left the car's steering, and he closed his hands and gave respect to Golu devta, but the mayor got angry and scolded him that you ediot why you leave the steering. Then the driver said that I was giving respect to Golu Devta. The mayor replied angrily that these things do not matter and ignored Golu Devta. Then, when he reached Champawat, he got very sick and was admitted to the hospital. The driver said to the mayor sir this is the maya of Goljyu Devta. You didn't give him respect; this is the reason for that. Then they rushed to Almora and the mayor donated the biggest bell present today in Chitai mandir, and he also took buget from the government to build the boundary of the Chitai mandir. This is the power of Goljyu devta.

There is also a story behind the building of the Gairar temple and Kaparkhan temple. Once upon a time, there was a man in the Bhatt village who had strength like Bheem and a wisdom like God. Whose name was Kalyan Singh Bisht, who later came to be known as Gairar Golu devta, and there was also another man who was Nau Lakhi Pandey, who owned the house of 9 lakhs around 300 years ago, and he didn't like Golu devta, as all the people in the village liked Golu devta. One day, when Golu devta had gone into the forest to graze his thousands of cows, and Nau lakhi pandey went to Golu devta's jija ji, and gave him greed of money and kingdom, and convinced him to kill Golu devta, and he agreed. His jija ji killed him when Golu devta bent down, he cut his head with an axe. His head fell in Kaparkhan, where Kaparkhan temple was built,t and his head turned into a stone, and his body fell in the forest of Binsar, where Gairar mandir was built, and his body turned into a stone. An interesting fact is that if you get a chance to visit Gairar temple, you'll seea large number of stones that were Goljyu devta's thousands of cows that turned into large rocks. So for today this much only, till further goodbye.
