Why everyone of us should know how to do household works?

Hello, Ram Ram, Namaste, Sastriyakal, to all Hive users that why everyone of us should know how to do household works. All of us know that household work in today's era is an important work that everyone should know because all of us one or the other day have to become independent because till how much time we'll be a kids dependent on the parents and other elders so, we have to become independent, independent doesn't means that taking the decisions as per our choice and doing what we like, that's not the defination of responsbility so, we should learn how to do our work indepedently. But, I am only good at giving speeches and reflect my thoughts and I know how to do household work but, I don't like to do household work.

But, yesterday when my grandmother said to me to wash the utensils then I washed the utensils because yesterday there was very much rainfall and the thunderstorm was also occuring, my mother had also gone somewhere so, I did washed the utensils and I said that I know how to wash the utensils but, I didn't washed them from about 1-2 years and from that much time I washed utensils, and I get to know that it will help me in my future if I'll go somewhere to study then, it will help me a lot to become independent and save my own money from renting a maid for household work and my grandmother also adviced me for that work that if I'll know how to do work then, I'll be independent. So, all of us should become independent and know how to do all kind of household work.
