Hello, Namaste, Ram Ram, Sastriyakal, to all Hive users. Today, I'll tell you why I believe in God but not in superstitions. I am from a family of Brahmans, as my surname is Bhatt. So, I follow the preachings of my ancestors. I did not pray much to god before my Janeu Sanskar. My Janeu Sanskar was held this year on 9-10 April. From that date, I started bathing daily except when I felt sick, but I started praying to God daily in the morning and evening, both times. I also started feeling the peace felt during praying to God, and we should also say the mantras during praying to god with a calm mind, because if we are praying to god with our mind focusing on other things, and there is no use of praying to god infact that will be called a showoff by people.
If you only prayed for 2 minutes with full focus on praying, and if a person prayed for 30 minutes and his mind is focusing on another place, then that is not use, and god will never be happy with us, and superstitions are called Andhavishewas in Hindi, which means believing in anything blindly, like if we have seen a back or flipped slipper then there will be something unusual and another that if the mirror or glass breaks then also something bad happens and by tying chilli and lemon on the door the ghosts and bad spirits go away.
These are said by my parents, but I don't believe them. But I know that if there is a Tulsi plant in the house, then no bad spirits can enter your house, and if you have a house temple on the roof, then the god will protect you, as you are under the charioteer of the gods. There are many gods and good spirits, but I also believe that if there are gods, then there are bad spirits also, and if you feel scared, then read Hanuman Chalisa loudly. And there is a line in Hanuman Chalisa that bhoot, pisach nikat nahi aave mahabir jab naam sunave. That means no bad spirit can come across you if Hanuman Ji's name is on your tongue. Sanatan Dharma has its own facts, and many secrets, many of you have also known about it who are very close to the gods and feel spiritual to say the name of the gods. And when I was going to my tuition in the morning at 5:30 am a few months before, so when I felt anything unusual, I took the name of Goljyu devta. God protect their prayers, and there liked ones. Likely, Hanumanji protects people who take the name of Ram Bhagwan. So for today, this much only till further goodbye.
