New arrivals, for some time now, i have been keeping my pen clean and tidy, especially when the festive season is over, i laid off most of my chickens and now is time to replace.
I've done my home work, i disinfect all forms of germs and contaminations, everything is set and now i welcome a hundred birds a day old birds, freshly hatched from the hatchery.
The factory is some kilometers away from where i live, so it took quite a while before the birds arrived, infact it was late at night.
Surprisingly, the birds are quite expensive now compared to last time bought, now one is sold for #510 naira, thats equivalent to 1USD
Just like an athlete who ran kilometers, the birds are also looking tired, i can understand to travel that distance could be so tiring for them, so i feed them with glucose, atleast to give them some strength as i welcome them into my abode
So let the adventure begins with my new 100 friends.
