Feedback time! What is your vision of a good newbie community?
There have been so many changes in this community recently, but amidst all the drama, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that many new users don't know about the twists and turns of the transition from STEEM to HIVE. Many won't care to know every detail either. I believe HIVE needs to stand on it's own two feet, and part of that process is having a community where newbies can get started, without any judgement, pressure or gimmicks.
Now that the foundations are in place. It's time to populate this community, so I'd like to ask you about your vision of a newbie community that will benefit new users, and the community as a whole.
So, please let me know:
- What makes a successful community on HIVE? What will make or break this community?
- What issues have you seen in other communities, that we might strive to avoid?
- Should we hit people with as much info as possible, or trim the fat and keep things user friendly as possible?
- Any other suggestions on rules, conventions, etc are most welcome.
Thanks!
