It dawned on me once again
moving back and forth like always
my thoughts compromised
paralyzed by what is
stunned by what was
what should
and what shouldn't

stuck once again
in yesterdays nightmare
cursed I felt
drowning further
till nothing left

A shadow once again
A broken shell
of who I was once
A poet
A dreamer
None of that matters now

A sip of poison I took
afterlife it took me
dwelling among the celestials
A never ending adventure
suddenly it feels familiar
An obnoxious feeling
evading my thoughts

As much as it hurts
covered in bruises
like a butchered cow
the pain was pleasurable
so I thought

A sharp sound it was
on a trip back to reality
A nightmare again
I grumbled.
