Crisis

I took a walk on the street
going down the path I once knew
walking with my heart ablaze
in fear of what I could see

distant chanting in the air
fear like smoke in the sky
I took a stand
to watch my end come closer

drought in my throat
watching men in disgust looks
whom will I call
o lord is this it

on kneels and feet
running as fast as a rabbit
Watching others fall on their faces
groaning as loud as gun shots

at this moment
nothing else matters
