hey lover
if stars were to fall
if eclipse were to emerge
if today should loose its grip
will you read my words?

if today were to be my last
at my memorial
overwhelmed with silence
flower plundering everywhere
tales of achievement
in scrolls and scribes
will you read my words?

after years of my passing
finally becoming dirt
my face melted
my bones home for termites
will you remember my words?

In the Kingdom of the damned
where your love has led me
imprisoned and caged
for lusting for what I couldn't have
condemned with nothing
grasping unto your fragrance
your image stuck in my imagination
would you remember me?

I tell tales
of our love to the dead
like it matters
giving them a glimpse of hope
putting a smile
on their burnt lips
hoping and graciously waiting
till we meet cross paths
will you remember our oath?

at the end time
when judgement is passed
our souls in lines
out of reach or touch
holding still like Christmas candles
one below the other above
one in hell the other in heaven
would you trade places with me?
