Hello, community dedicated to the intervention of creating meaningful learning at home. Today I am sharing a didactic activity that I used to initiate my daughter in reading, as I feel responsible for her intellectual development. Reading is the important capacity of human beings to understand and be understood in the world. I dedicate to create games that interest Amanda to make the process of reading enjoyable. Amanda is 6 years old, she is initiated in the alphabet, in the sound and the combination of phonemes like writing mommy, daddy and her name; all this changed, now she wants to read everything and write what she thinks (reading-writing). Amanda indicated to me that it was time to continue and assimilate new words, so I started with concrete words and abstract words to give her meaning with syllables that she identifies. In addition, the process of filtering sounds began because she chose the syllables to learn, she is motivated, she is starting first grade soon and wants to be prepared. So I constructed an activity that my daughter called Discover the chicken's egg.
Hola, comunidad dedicada a la intervención de crear aprendizaje significativo en el hogar. Hoy comparto una actividad didáctica que empleé para iniciar a mi hija en la lectura, ya que me siento responsable en su desarrollo intelectual, por tanto. La lectura es la capacidad importante del ser humano para comprender y ser comprendido en el mundo. Dedico a crear juegos que le interesen a Amanda para que el proceso de la lectura sea placentero. Amanda tiene 6 años, está iniciada en el alfabeto, en el sonido y la combinación de fonemas como leer y escribir mamá, papá y su nombre; todo esto cambió, ahora desea leer todo y escribir lo que piensa, (Pre-reading y escritura). Amanda me indicó que era el momento de continuar y asimilar nuevas palabras, así que empecé por palabras concretas y palabras abstractas para que le otorgue significado con sílabas que identifique. Además el proceso de filtrar sonidos, empezó porque ella elegio las sílabas para aprender, está motivada, pronto inicia primer grado y quiere estar preparada. Entonces construí una actividad que mi hija denominó Descubre el huevo de la gallina.
A cardboard or maple egg carton and in my case I used the chocolate surprise eggs, ideal to manipulate with the fingers, the eggs can be replaced by balls or other material. A marker to write the syllables to exercise on the eggs and use the child's toys that will be the words to learn, according to maturity and experience.
Un cartón o maple de huevos y en mi caso usé los huevos del chocolate sorpresa ideales para manipular con los dedos, los huevos los pueden sustituir por pelotitas u otro material. Un marcador para escribir las sílabas a ejercitar en los huevos y usar los juguetes del niño que serán las palabras a aprender silábicamente, de acuerdo a la madurez y experiencia.
I always create different variants
in the didactic activity to create challenges. First variant, place the carton with all the eggs that have syllables, leave an empty line of the carton in front, where the eggs that build the word will be placed. Order the toys in sequence, start words that contain a vowel at the beginning, then the main syllable composed of 2 letters, then the middle or the last one and the total construction of the word.
Siempre creo diferentes variantes
en la actividad didáctica para crear desafíos. Primera variante, colocar el cartón con todos los huevos que tienen sílabas, dejar vacía una línea del cartón adelante, donde se colocará los huevos que construyen la palabra. Ordenar los juguetes por secuencia, empezar palabras que contenga una vocal al principio; luego la sílaba principal compuesta de 2 letras, después la del medio o la última y la construcción total de la palabra.
Another variation is the lottery, a frequent game at this age. Place the toys in a bag to select one and build the word with the syllables painted on the eggs.

Last variant, an adult constructs the word with the eggs and the child decodes as he/she reads and must explain the meaning of the word. Use simple words and other challenging words to enhance the reading comprehension process.
Última variante, un adulto construye la palabra con los huevos y el niño decodifica al leer y debe explicar el significado de la palabra. Usar palabras sencillas y otras que sean retos que potencie el proceso lector comprensivo.
It is always important in each variant to ask how many syllables the word has, since quantity and space are necessary to understand the composition of words. This activity will exercise cognitive processes such as attention, concentration, observation, discrimination, analysis, synthesis to structure thinking. It is an activity that enriches the vocabulary; it encourages problem-solving, creativity in letting the child participate in the choice of words or creation of slogans, for example, Amanda selected syllables and asked me to read to see if it made sense, that is, she experiments with the syllables. The activity is fun and this same activity was adapted to the writing exercise, but I will write about that later. Remember that my daughter is in the Pre-reading stage, so the activity includes both; it is also important to consider the maturity of the child to start, but we can stimulate with stories, games, among other activities related to the interest of the child to develop language.
Siempre es importante en cada variante preguntar cuantas sílabas posee la palabra, ya que, la cantidad y el espacio son necesarios para comprender la composición de las palabras. En esta actividad se pondrá ejercitar procesos cognitivos como atención, concentración, observación, discriminación, análisis, síntesis para estructurar el pensamiento. Es una actividad que enriquece el vocabulario; fomenta la solución de problemas, la creatividad en dejar al niño participar en la elección de palabras o creación de consignas, por ejemplo, Amanda seleccionaba sílabas y me pedía que leyera para saber si tenía sentido, es decir, experimenta con las sílabas. La actividad es divertida y esta misma fue adaptada al ejercicio de escritura, pero luego escribiré sobre eso. Recuerden que mi hija se encuentra en la etapa, prelectura, por ello, la actividad incluye ambas; también es importante considerar la madurez del niño para iniciar, pero podemos estimular con cuentos, juegos, entre otras actividades relacionadas con el interés del pequeño para desarrollar el lenguaje.
