Some strategies that we can use for early stimulation are:
-Talk constantly with our baby. There are those who think that they cannot understand us and therefore it is enough to attend to them and provide support when they cry. However, it is essential to talk to them when they play, while we feed them, even while they are asleep we can tell them stories and explain things about our day to day life. Babies who speak more quickly and fluently are influenced by the external stimuli provided by their parents, siblings and caregivers. Talking to them is fundamental.
-Respond affectionately to the baby's sounds. It means that when babies make the characteristic sounds with which they call our attention we respond to them by first seeking the explanation and telling the child what he/she wants and what his/her request means from love.

-Show the baby by example games where they move their lips. In this particular strategy is based on making the children discover the correct way to pronounce letters, syllables and words and this is achieved through a good posture of the lips and with simple games we can achieve them.
-Playing to produce sounds of different objects, animals and even the elements. This is one of my favorites and we can do it in a very fun way through stories and stories where we can imitate the characters and the sounds that characterize the objects.
-Avoid correcting the baby by saying "That's not right, that's wrong, that's not how you pronounce it" with babies it is enough when once they have mispronounced the word we say it and repeat it in the correct way. Remember, they learn by imitation.

-Encourage the child to communicate with words, even short ones, when he/she wants something or wants to express discomfort.
These simple strategies although we all know them are necessary and especially remember them in this time where the family has replaced face-to-face conversations by communication via telephone or any other device, this is isolating the little ones and we leave the learning and stimulation of speech in many cases on television or the internet. I insist, the family is the main source of socialization and especially for children to develop their skills and abilities successfully. The early years are fundamental for our development as people and social beings.
