This year we are still organizing the vacation plan and we have included other activities to help the children, parents have been asked in what area we can reinforce them and the most common has been mathematics, so I developed a puzzle to study addition and multiplication, in addition to other activities that I am still doing linked to mathematics; this puzzle can be worked with children from 6 to 9 years old, the objective is to present mathematics in a simple and practical way, and to erase the myth that "the multiplication table is a headache", with this activity they will study addition and multiplication.
To make the puzzle we need few materials and it is easy to make.

Este año aún estamos organizando el plan vacacional y hemos incluido otras actividades para ayudar a los niños, se le ha preguntado a los padres en que área podemos reforzarlos y la más común ha sido matemáticas, por ello elaboré un rompecabezas para estudiar suma y multiplicación, además de otras actividades que aun estoy realizando vinculadas a las matemáticas; este rompecabezas se puede trabajar con niños de 6 a 9 años, el objetivo es presentar las matemáticas de una forma sencilla y práctica, y borrar el mito de que "la tabla de multiplicar es un dolor de cabeza", con esta actividad estudiaran adición y multiplicación.
Para realizar el rompecabezas necesitamos pocos materiales y es sencillo de elaborar.

I marked the puzzle mold on cardstock, then I cut.
Marqué el molde del rompecabezas en cartulina, luego corté.
I blurred the edges of the puzzle pieces with assorted colors.
Difuminé los bordes de las piezas del rompecabezas con colores variados.
With a hole puncher I punched several holes in the side pieces of the puzzle and glued cardboard on the back.
Con una perforadora hice varios orificios en las piezas laterales del rompecabezas y pegué cartulina en la parte de atrás.
On the puzzle piece (above) I wrote the addition operation corresponding to the number of holes in each one.
En la pieza del rompecabezas (arriba) escribí la operación de suma correspondiente al número de orificios de cada uno.
Similarly, on the other piece of the puzzle I wrote the multiplication operations.
Igualmente en la otra pieza del rompecabezas escribí las operaciones de multiplicación.
How is the activity performed?
This activity is done in the following way: The child is given one by one the pieces with the holes to count them, then the next piece with the addition, finally the puzzle is assembled and the child will be able to observe that with addition we also multiply and we can study the multiplication table.
Among the benefits are:
Develop skills to add and multiply.
Stimulate concentration and logical thinking.
Strengthen memorization
Development of motor skills.
Knowing geometric figures: circle, rectangle, and square.
Cómo se realiza la actividad?
Esta actividad se realiza de la siguiente manera: Se le da al niño una por una las piezas con los orificios para que las cuente, luego la siguiente pieza con la suma, finalmente se arma el rompecabezas y el niño podrá observar que con la adición también multiplicamos y podemos estudiar la tabla de multiplicar.
Entre los beneficios destacan:
Desarrollar habilidades para sumar y multiplicar.
Estimular la concentración y pensamiento lógico.
Fortalecer la memorización.
Desarrollo de la motricidad.
Conocer figuras geométricas: Círculo, rectángulo, y cuadrado.
