Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, estoy encantada de participar en el Challenge: Home School Vacation. En este post les compartiré una actividad maravillosa que disfrutaran mucho haciendo en casa con los más pequeños. Como lo he dicho en otras publicaciones, mi trabajo me ha dado la oportunidad de compartir con muchos niños, realizando infinidad de actividades recreativas. He acompañado y organizado planes vacacionales, tanto presenciales como virtuales, y siempre ha sido una experiencia magnifica compartir con los niños y acompañarles en su crecimiento y desarrollo.

Hace unos años un compañero cubano, especialista en teatro, me enseño a realizar unos títeres muy sencillos. Esta actividad se puede realizar con niños de 3 años en adelante, pero para que vivan la experiencia completa, es preferible que sepan recortar. A los más pequeñitos los puedes ayudar, esta será una buena oportunidad para que aprendan a recortar, aunque al inicio no les salga tan bien.

Esta además de ser una actividad de creación que les ayudará a desarrollar su coordinación viso-motora, también estimulará su imaginación al momento de diseñar a los personajes, y de crear sus historias para interpretarlas. Es una actividad manual que abre las puertas a la diversión y los juegos. Estos son los materiales que necesitas:

Comencemos. Con el lápiz, marca en la mitad de la carpeta las partes de la cara de tu personaje, es decir: Ojos, nariz, boca, cejas. En el caso de las orejas, dibújales una pequeña pestaña, esto te ayudará a pegarlas correctamente cuando estés componiendo la cara.

Divide la carpeta en dos, guarda la mita sin marcar porque la necesitaras más tarde.

Remarca lo que hiciste en lápiz, con el marcador.

Ahora recórtalo.

Quítale la tapa a la botella y vístela con la media.

Con la cinta adhesiva pega cada uno de los rasgos en la media hasta formar la cara.

En el caso de las orejas, tendrás que doblar las pestañas que dibujaste, para que queden en el sentido correcto. Allí les pones la cinta y las pegas a los lados de la cara.

Ya tienes listo a tu personaje, ahora para que sea un marote, vamos a utilizar la mitad de la carpeta que nos queda. Con ayuda del marcado, enrolla la carpeta hasta obtener un cilindro. Introdúcelo por el pico de la botella, oculto bajo la media. Así ya tendrás el marote, solo te queda ponerle un nombre y comenzar a contar tus historias.

Cuando lo realices con los niños, te recomiendo, que les ayudes con la cara del personaje la primera vez que lo hagan, para que sepan cómo va, ya luego invítalos a crear a sus personajes. Disfrutarán mucho hacerlo, además que, como lo dije al inicio, el proceso de creación no es solo la parte manual, también las historias y los juegos que puedan inventar cuando ya estén listos.

A few years ago a Cuban colleague, a specialist in theater, taught me how to make some very simple puppets. This activity can be done with children from 3 years old and up, but for them to live the full experience, it is preferable that they know how to cut. You can help the little ones, this will be a good opportunity for them to learn how to cut, even if at the beginning they don't do it so well.

In addition to being a creative activity that will help them develop their visual-motor coordination, it will also stimulate their imagination when designing the characters and creating their own stories to interpret them. It is a manual activity that opens the doors to fun and games. These are the materials you will need:

Let's begin. With the pencil, mark in the middle of the folder the parts of your character's face, i.e. Eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows. In the case of the ears, draw them a small tab, this will help you to stick them correctly when you are composing the face.

Divide the folder in two, keep the unmarked half because you will need it later.

Highlight what you did in pencil, with the marker.

Now cut it out.

Remove the cap from the bottle and dress it with the stocking.

Using the masking tape glue each of the features onto the stocking until the face is formed.

In the case of the ears, you will have to bend the tabs you drew, so that they are in the right direction. There you put the tape on them and glue them to the sides of the face.

You've got your character ready, now to make it a marote, let's use half of the remaining folder. With the help of the marker, roll the folder into a cylinder. Insert it through the spout of the bottle, hidden under the stocking. This way you will have the pot, you just have to name it and start telling your stories.

When you do it with the children, I recommend that you help them with the face of the character the first time they do it, so they know how it goes, and then invite them to create their characters. They will really enjoy doing it, besides, as I said at the beginning, the creation process is not only the manual part, but also the stories and games they can invent when they are ready.
