Yes I know, every parent believes there 6 year old child is the most talented. Mine, is for sure one of the wildest. Her energy is endless and her imagination runs wild. She is such a joy to observe.
She's even triggered a few people, because she is so unapologetically herself. She really is a force. As well as being quite cheeky. But she is the third child afterall. And you have got to leave your mark.
A few days ago when I was at the river, she asked if she could take some pictures. After being advised to stay out of the water, whilst taking photos, she walked off and begin. Tilting the camera this way and that.
She was quite taken by the bridge, which you can tell, by the amount of photos she took of it. I just love the different angles she captured.
I really think she has a very interesting way of seeing things. I definitely felt like I was seeing the riverside in a different light.
As a parent, it's hard not to jump on the things they take an interest in. Because you want to support them. Support their interests.
For now, I will let her use my phone, I'll wait and see if she really does have a love for taking photos. I certainly praised her, for what she took on this day.
I really her to tell me and not let it become something that I push on her, encourage yes, but not insist. Anyway 6 is a young age, play is the most important thing for her now.
Playing and exploring, which is exactly what she was doing when she took these photos.
I know, I know, I'm biased, but I really do think she took some awesome shots. Today however, she told me she wants to be a painter and a singer, so let's see.
Oh but my heart is bursting with love and joy, when I see her get so focused on doing something. Then get to see the end result and watch her react to my reaction.
Her joy, her little face so light up, so proud. I feel so blessed to have my girls. To get to share my life with them. Such amazing beings, that they are.
Making me feel like the luckiest person in the world.( well most of the time).
