Diesmal traf sich ein kleines Grüppchen im MIKES, direkt bei der U6 am Urban-Loritz-Platz. Dass unsere HIVE Meet-Ups, die in der Regel jeden Monat stattfinden, über die Grenzen hinaus bekannt sind, bewies sich gestern wieder einmal.
Hive account@godfish besuchte den Wiener Stammtisch, und wir haben uns gemeinsam mit 
Hive account@reiseamateur, 
Hive account@danaandwild, 
Hive account@stayoutoftherz, 
Hive account@thermoplastic und 
Hive account@vikisecrets über viele HIVE-Themen ausgetauscht.
Für mich war wie immer das Thema rund um die Community, die Downvotes und letztendlich, wie wir es schaffen, Restaurants so weit zu onboarden, dass wir mit HBD bezahlen können, besonders interessant. Wir haben uns wirklich intensiv ausgetauscht und zuletzt auch über die 
Hive account@buzzparty 2025 in Graz gesprochen.
Hive account@godfish war schon viel unterwegs, besuchte auch das Meet-Up von 
Hive account@detlev in Aachen und erzählte von Brasilien und vielen interessanten Geschichten rund um HIVE.
Für mich sind die Meet-Ups immer eine nette Abwechslung und ein "nice to have", um selbst wieder ein wenig aktiver auf HIVE zu werden. Denn, ganz ehrlich, eine Community lebt von der Community und deren Aktivität. Wenn dir also die Community zu inaktiv erscheint oder es dir auf HIVE nicht schnell genug vorangeht, dann frage dich immer, wie aktiv du selbst bist.
Hive account@stayoutoftherz meinte im Spaß, dass ich über das Essen schreiben darf (wie so oft früher 😂), während möglicherweise er einen Bericht über die Themen, die genau besprochen wurden, veröffentlicht. Tja es war intensiv und viel ...

Ganz ehrlich unter uns gesagt: Das MIKES ist gut, hat eine gute Küche, und der Kaffee ist trinkbar. Hier lässt es sich bei WLAN, der MIKES-App und den vielen Steckdosen auch gut bloggen und arbeiten. Preis-Leistung ist ok.
Das nächste "Insider-Meetup" folgt am 19.11. zu Hive account@vikisecrets Geburtstag im MQ-Wien. Ich denke, dass wir uns auch hier als Grüppchen zusammenfinden werden und den offiziellen möglicherweise auslassen. Warum? Punsch bleibt Punsch, wir lassen den Viki hochleben, und das MQ ist gerade zur Weihnachtszeit immer einen Besuch wert. Infos und Updates folgen hier in der Community.

This time, a small group met at MIKES, right by the U6 at Urban-Loritz-Platz. The fact that our HIVE Meet-Ups, which usually take place every month, are known beyond borders was proven once again yesterday.
Hive account@godfish visited the Vienna regulars' table, and together with Hive account@reiseamateur, Hive account@danaandwild, Hive account@stayoutoftherz, Hive account@thermoplastic, and Hive account@vikisecrets, we exchanged thoughts on various HIVE topics.
As always, I found topics around the community, downvotes, and ultimately how we can onboard restaurants to accept HBD as payment particularly interesting. We had an intense exchange, and we also discussed the upcoming Hive account@buzzparty 2025 in Graz.
Hive account@godfish has traveled a lot, even attending Hive account@detlev's Meet-Up in Aachen. He shared stories about Brazil and other interesting experiences with HIVE.
For me, the Meet-Ups are always a nice change of pace and a "nice to have" that gets me back into being a little more active on HIVE. Because, to be honest, a community lives off its members and their activity. So if you feel the community is too inactive, or things on HIVE aren’t moving fast enough, then always ask yourself, how active are you?
Hive account@stayoutoftherz said I could write about the food, while he might publish a report on the specific topics we discussed. Well, between us, MIKES is good, the food is decent, and the coffee is drinkable. With Wi-Fi, the MIKES app, and plenty of power outlets, it’s a good place for blogging and working. The price-performance ratio is okay.
The next "insider meet-up" will be on November 19 for Hive account@vikisecrets' birthday at the MQ-Wien. I think we’ll gather as a group here as well and maybe skip the official meet-up. Why? Punsch is Punsch, we’ll celebrate Viki, and the MQ is always worth a visit during Christmas season. Info and updates will follow here in the community.
