After waking up at a solid 6:30PM then scarfing down a few slices of Ham and a handful of Oreo cookies for breakfast while catching up on replies and correspondence on here, it's time to once again bury my head in code for 12+ hours overnight in an effort to try and stick to my prior launch of the Hive.Loans beta testing coming "in a week" projection I'd put fourth a few days back.
As it sits I've effectively completely destroyed any semblance of a "normal" circadian rhythm in trade for having my most productive hours spool into effect far after the majority of folks around where I live have long been in bed preparing for their next day. It's a bit solitary and silent at times but certainly seems to be where best use of my attention and focus comes from.. And while the age old adage "early to bed, early to rise, makes a man... etc etc" is effectively flipped on it's head in the way I approach it, waking up incredibly late and utilizing prolonged hours of being awake to maximize effective coding time, the sentiment or goal of the adage still ends up being applied.
Tonight I'm hoping to all but completely finish off the CFD trading platform coming in the beta testing release of Hive.Loans and to erect the framework of the on site exchange fully. It's about high time we had more places to transfer funds / crypto / wealth to and from different investment vehicles around, and I intend to provide that out of my own necessity and share it with everyone else.
I'm hoping that all these efforts pay off eventually for all of us as a community. Making HIVE a "no-brainer" buy and hold due to it's plentiful and wide ranging attractiveness of use cases has been something that in my opinion we lacked out of the gate (fork) and hasn't really been objectively looked at and tackled by those who should have been aware of it...
But alas, sometimes it takes a while for a shift in paradigm to take place in those sitting pretty before realizations and actions take place to not only fix shortcomings present on the community side of things, but also to shake the rose tinted glasses off and begin positioning themselves to supply what the greater market demands. It all takes time, capital and effort at the end of the day and I'm no stranger to the first and last entities on that list.
With that being said, I'd like to thank everyone realizing what I'm doing here for HIVE and supporting it wholeheartedly. You, the community, is why I build these things, as you deserve better than what we have now.. And I'll do everything within my power, code or otherwise, to ensure HIVE thrives.
