When I got here stinc gave me 3 hive, then the price dropped and they started giving out 15 hive.
When I cried about it I believe it was timcliff that dropped 100 hive on me, somebody did.
Pretty hard to complain about that even for me.

I had to beg a karma point on reddit because having positive karma on reddit was a prerequisite to getting an account for giving an email.
Those were the days.

Today the problem is power.
Instead of the power being distributed a little broader, we get the top 20 accounts getting 50% of the pool year after year.
For this to change, those with the power have to abdicate it.
Do you know how hard it is to take drugs from junkies?
Try taking power from somebody that has tasted it.

If hive is to succeed, imo, it will require that that power, at least over the pool, will have to be voluntarily relinquished to 'the community'.
I thought that would have happened by the 7th year, but nope.

Just another crappy day in the only utopia we get.
