A quick guide on how to use Ionomy (the new exchange on the block)

The Hive fork has been some pretty exciting times and has definitely renewed my excitement for this community. Many of you will probably remember me ranting for years about needing to get rid of the Stinc ninja-mined stake and become a more decentralized and truly independent blockchain, well all things in good time apparently. Today I want to share one of my most pleasant surprises throughout this whole experience with you all.

I should probably first mention that I have been a die-hard Bittrex fan for years. Ever since Poloniex started getting really fucky around 3 years ago I basically moved all of my trading there. Seeing all of the massive support from exchanges for HIVE is awesome and I'm glad we have so many trading options becoming available so quickly. Hive account@bittrex is supporting both HIVE and HBD, Hive account@blocktrades already has services integrated and offers some extremely easy to use ways to convert funds for the less technically savvy, and one of my new favorite surprises has been discovering Hive account@ionomy.

The more options the better in my opinion, but I want to spotlight Hive account@ionomy for those of you that are unaware of this smaller exchange that quickly jumped to our aid during the fork, because they have one really interesting feature that I think will appeal to some in this space that other exchanges don't. I was able to make an account and get trading within two minutes without having to submit any KYC documents. I know, seems way too good to be true, but seeing is believing.

I imagine most of you are already familiar with Bittrex and Blocktrades, and if not there have already been some quality guides created out there on how to use them, so I'll briefly cover how to use the Ionomy platform for those that think it looks intimidating. First go ahead and sign up at https://ionomy.com/en/ with just an email and a password. Optionally you can enable 2fa, which I highly suggest you do on any exchange.

Next up you'll want to click on Wallets if you aren't there already:

Then you'll want to click the picture of a QR code next to the token you want to depost:

This box will pop up giving you account name and memo to deposit to:

After you've used the wallet of your choice to deposit funds, you'll go back to the top and click on Market, where you'll be able to find the tokens you want to sell and buy:

You can see the current available asks and bids as well as the quantity available at that price here to know what price is currently available to buy or sell immediately or you can just set your own price somewhere in between and be patient:

After you've dumped all that nasty old STEEM and scooped up your new HIVE tokens, you just go back to your Wallets page and click the paper airplane picture to enter the account name you want to send your new tokens to (don't forget to go to your email and verify the withdrawal):
