Dear Hive Watchers ( ) and the Hive Community,
I am writing to sincerely apologize for my past mistakes and to appeal for reconsideration regarding my placement on the Hive Watchers blacklist. I fully acknowledge my errors and take responsibility for them, but I also believe some misunderstandings have contributed to this situation. I hope to clarify these points and demonstrate that I have since reformed my behavior.
Screenshot above shows hivewatchers is still confusing me with kavii and other nonrelated alts, and I did not ever plagiarize any content, that's not my style.
Background on the 2019 Blacklisting
Initially, in 2019, I was falsely accused of being or associated with
. This was later proven incorrect—I have no connection to either account except that we do share a HELIOS project together. Despite this, the stigma lingered, and I believe it may have influenced perceptions of my later actions.
The 2024 AI Bot Incident
In 2024, while learning to code on the Hive blockchain, I developed an AI curation bot as a personal experiment. My goal was purely educational—to explore Hive’s features, including post scanning, commenting, and voting. However, I made a critical oversight: the bot had a function that randomly upvoted comments, including (very rarely) my own or its own replies.
This unintentionally created the appearance of vote farming, which was never my intention.
When confronted, I reacted poorly out of frustration, failing to explain the situation clearly. I immediately shut down the bot, but in hindsight, I should have blacklisted my own accounts from its voting function. Later, I attempted another bot using "burn" comments instead, but again neglected to exclude my accounts—another careless mistake.
Reformation and Current Behavior
Since then, I have:
- Permanently deactivated all AI bot scripts (over a year ago).
- Acted as an ordinary Hive user, posting only occasional updates (about once a week) and sharing daily snaps like any other community member.
- Learned from my mistakes, recognizing that even experimental projects must adhere to Hive’s guidelines.
Request for a Second Chance
I understand why my actions raised concerns, and I deeply regret any disruption caused. However:
- The original 2019 accusation was demonstrably false (I am not
nor connected to
), I was not farming votes in any way shape or form.
- The 2024 incident was unintentional, stemming from negligence—not malice.
- I have completely ceased all curation bot-related activity that could upvote my own comments since the incident and now use Hive as intended.
I kindly ask Hive Watchers to review my case with these facts in mind. I am happy to provide any additional information or discuss this further if needed. My goal is simply to contribute positively to Hive moving forward.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
