So I just added a new chart on HBDSTATS.COM that is representing monthly year-over-year (YoY) inflation for Hive.
https://hbdstats.com/hive.html#hive-inflation-section
As seen from the screenshot when you hover over a say the bar for February 2026 it shows the inflation and data for the Hive supply for the end month, compared to the Hive supply to the same month from the previous year.
When presented like this, we can see that the record highs were back in October 2019 with 17%, compared for the last month 12% YoY. Back then the overall supply was smaller so even smaller numbers in absolute HIVE were making bigger diference. Today we have a record HIVE numbers in new HIVE added, close to 10M per month, but in % terms the data is smaller.
If we look only from 2020 to know (Hive only) last months are still a record however you look at it and from all PoV.
