Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of actual code production to update you on this week, but there is a lot of learning and cleaning off the rust going on. All in all, this was a productive week which should in theory cause next week to be even more productive.
You can follow the production going forward on GitHub where they make it uncomfortably easy for someone to realize what a putz the coder might be. I don't know, I just think its funny that there is a graph of your daily work for all to see there. Its a great idea, and hilarious to me.
I've never really used git and Github before. I have only done a bunch of copy pasta in server config files and some messing around with web dev "back in the day". This past week, I got that up and going and got some practice with my dev flow. With an old school command line affinity, my P52 ThinkPad sports PopOS! for graphics support and a mostly KDE interface harmonizing with Nextcloud. My little mess mixes a modern and classic vibe, resulting in a cherished, personalized setup that is fun for me to work with.
I spent a lot of time getting a little better idea about the layout and function of the plugin. I took a bunch of time to look into the Exxp plugin and the Hive development system. I don't know if I can say I have a good idea as to how to get started strategically. Honestly, I feel a little less sure than before, but I'll just keep trying to figure it out as I go.
The code I did try to run this week was a complete failure. At this point, I'm just wiping everything and starting from scratch again. Usually, I have to do that 3-4 times in hopes to finally get a good start.
That's as far as I got and that's why I stopped to do this update.
Now back at another fresh start.
The main page for the wp-dapp remains updated.
