On January 12, 2016, together with the North Aceh forestry service team in Jambal hamlet between Nisam Antara sub-district, we started to go to the measurement location or plot of land for the Nanggroe ijo cooperative which is located in Nisam Antara and Riseh Tunong village, Sawang Kan sub-district, North Aceh.
The Nanggroe ijo Cooperative is a joint cooperative that we created after the 2005 peace agreement between GAM and RI 1 in Helsinki, Finland.
This cooperative is a place to make an economic development for its members who are in the cooperative and there are also others who are not included in it.
We are also part of the land plotting team as members of the Nanggroe ijo cooperative.
Our journey that took up to 20 days and nights, until ready to plot it.
The story in the forest is fun and also scary with various things, wild animals, snakes, tigers and others, but during our activities we measure with satellite equipment and also use google maps.
As long as we were in the forest, there was nothing that prevented us from working the plotting of the Nanggroe ijo cooperative's land until it was finished.
Even if someone falls into the abyss, but it can be controlled, we immediately make powerful traditional herbal medicines in the forest.
In the forest it also rains every day, but the land area of about 1500 hectares is ready for us to work within 20 working days.

North Aceh | The head of the Aceh Reintegration Agency, the Head of Land Arrangement at the Aceh Provincial BPN Regional Office together with the Sawang Sub-district Head, carried out counseling activities for the phase 1 land redistribution program for 30 recipients.
This event took place at the Sawang Subdistrict Head Office, North Aceh Regency, Tuesday.
In addition, representatives of the Land Office of North Aceh Regency, Kapolsek, Danramil Sawang, Chairman of the Plantation Cooperative Nanggroe Ijo and people from former GAM troops, political prisoners/Napol Amnesty and Conflict Victims in North Aceh Regency also participated.
This counseling follows up on the Regent's Decree No. 523/33/2020, regarding the determination of prospective farmers and land candidates for former GAM Troops, political prisoners/Napols for Amnesty and Conflict Victims at the Nanggroe Ijo Plantation Cooperative in Sawang and Nisam Antara Districts, North Aceh Regency.
This counseling was carried out as an effort to accelerate the certificate submission on the Helsinski Aceh MoU Commemoration Day, August 18, 2020.
In accordance with the existing budget revision, the number of fields allocated in 2020 is 30 fields for the first phase and the remaining 397 fields will be targeted in the 2021 fiscal year.
The program of providing land and land certificates through this land redistribution program aims to improve the welfare of the community from former GAM troops, political prisoners/Napol Amnesty International and victims of conflict in North Aceh District.
It is hoped that the entire community from former GAM troops, political prisoners/Napol Amnesty and victims of the conflict can immediately get the same program.
Meanwhile, His Majesty the Wali Nanggroe Aceh, Malek Mahmud Al Haytar, Monday (6/7/2020), summoned the Aceh Reintegration Agency and the Aceh Truth and Reconciliation Commission to hold a meeting with victims of human rights violations in Aceh and Lhokseumawe (K2HAU).
The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Aceh Reintegration Agency, H. Sayed Fakhururrazi Yusuf. SE, M.Si. The Chairperson of the Aceh Truth and Reconciliation Commission was attended by Afridal Darmi and Muhammad Daud B, Commissioner of the Aceh TRC.
The meeting took place in a quite moving atmosphere, when representatives of victims conveyed various problems and hopes that the right to recovery would be taken seriously.
"It's been 15 years since Aceh Damai but we haven't felt a significant impact. It's even like being neglected and forgotten," said one of the sentences conveyed by a K2HAU representative.
The head of BRA said that he was ready to carry out various activities related to Aceh Reintegration. Including carrying out reparations for conflict victims from the recommendations of the Aceh TRC.
According to him, the recommendation of the Aceh TRC is very important for BRA, because it helps BRA in minimizing errors in providing assistance to communities affected by the 30 years of armed conflict in Aceh.
The handling of conflict-affected communities is very complex and crucial, almost all Acehnese are affected by conflict in various fields.
Well, BRA itself cannot provide assistance if the community cannot show evidence of losses during the conflict. This is in accordance with the Helsinki MoU at Point 3.2.5 letter c.
"All civilians who can show clear losses as a result of the conflict will receive an appropriate allocation of agricultural land, employment or social security from the Aceh government if they are unable to work," said Sayed.
The head of BRA admits that the handling of special reintegration issues for communities affected by conflict has not been maximized.
The reasons are various political factors and the availability of the budget as well as several technical factors.
"Aceh TRC is very important for BRA to ensure proper data collection for conflict-affected communities, because TRC is an institution capable of proving losses to the victimized community," said Sayed.
The Chairperson of the Aceh TRC said that the recommended urgent reparation efforts had been determined through the Aceh Governor's Decree Number 330/1209/2020, dated 27 May 2020.
Further discussions will be held with BRA as the implementing agency and KKR to convey the obstacles that have been faced so far in carrying out their authority.
Meanwhile, His Excellency the Wali Nanggroe Aceh Tgk Malik Mahmud Al-Haytar advised the Aceh TRC, BRA and the Aceh Government, to work together to restore the rights of victims as recommended by the Aceh TRC.
Wali Nanngroe also conveyed several important things from his meeting with the President of the Republic of Indonesia in February 2020 in Jakarta.
"The president gave a positive response regarding various aspects of recovery efforts for the people who were victims of the conflict in Aceh, and he hoped that BRA and KKR would regularly report," said Wali Nanggroe.***
