Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you had a day that has brought some interesting experience into your life! In this post, I would like to discuss Hive and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.
The blockchain technology has been known for years for the fact that it can be used for charitable purposes and a great advantage here is transparency and it is possible to track via the blockchain how the funds are used and if got the ability to follow the cash flows, this of course ensures more transparency. Often charitable organizations do not have the right technology to use it for their purposes and here the blockchain technology can also be a great help by providing the infrastructure to connect people with each other and with the Hive Blockchain it is particularly interesting that applications on the blockchain have been developed that make it particularly easy to connect people worldwide. People in need can go to the community and describe their problem and thus reach different people online and motivate them to donate and through these aspects of social media, individuals or organizations can share their updates and bring their concerns to the public better documented and when it comes to transparency, it is extremely important to establish a connection between the users and the charitable organization or the individual. The Hive blockchain makes it possible to track exactly where the funds are going and so you can be sure that no one intercepts the transaction and people can see that the funds really arrive and in addition, the transactions are sent in real time and there is no fee for the transaction. This transparency is of great importance and Hive is a good example when it comes to providing people a platform to describe their problems and can help make the world a better place and help people in need. I have often seen in the past how Hive helped people and try to make also a small contribution if the opportunity arises and in the past, I could already see that funds were generated by the community to help people who are victims of environmental disasters, sick people and others and there are even examples of how the community supported projects which supply water to the people such as the Borehole Project in Ghana which is managed by and
and they also help to generate new users in Ghana.
Through this project, 14 boreholes have already been built to provide villages with a water supply and so you can see how the infrastructure has been improved through Hive and through regular updates you can follow the progress and I also find it exemplary to have launched this project by the leaders. Many donations were often generated by contributions in which it was about sharing their problems to public and through the reward system or private donations by the users, money was generated and some of the projects were also additionally funded by the Decentralized Hive Fund (DHF), which offers an great alternative to present projects on the hive blockchain and let the community vote about it and the DHF is designed for the further development on the Hive Platform, but it also offers opportunities to support charitable projects on the Hive blockchain and how much the vote of a proposal is worth, depend on the stake of the account. If a proposal has enough votes by the community, it is financed and gets regular payouts and the DHF is financed by the account hive.fund which receives 10% of the new amount annually and also the project in Ghana was funded by it and currently there is also the possibility to vote for a new proposal to help people in Brazil who have become victims of an environmental disaster and if you want to support it, you will find here a contribution to Propsal #309. Even if the DHF system is primarily intended to further develop the hive blockchain, I think it's a great thing to help people in need and I think it would also be a good idea to create a own proposal that focuses on promoting different charitable projects and takes care of transparency and I think Hive can help many more people in the future.
