1. Introduction
Not too long ago I published an article here on the Hive platform defending a gentleman named Hector Vera from a series of false accusations from a deplatformed YouTuber who went by the user name of The Over Reactor. Well, some of ex-YouTuber The Over Reactor's fans did not take it so kindly.
A YouTuber who goes by the user name of Mario The Tanooki Plush posted a video to snipe at me, and he titled it "Denox Series Average Defender." The video begins with a female speaking in a high-pitch Shirley-Temple-like voice complimenting how good my articles about Mr. Vera are, in a sarcastic manner, of course, and then she "wonders" what other articles I have written.
Then this female voice speaking on behalf of YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush shows pictures of the first page of different articles I have published on the Hive platform. The video ends with a man screaming from the top of his lungs. He shows my original user name of epicenterdefacto, although I prefer to be addressed as "Spaceship Captain." However, "epicenterdefacto" will do fine.
I have not embedded that same video herein, because I really do not wish to give this person a platform. However, I do have a mouthful to say about him.
First of all, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush, if you are reading this article here of mine, you didn't really describe what it was about my above-described articles to which you objected. You provided a list of six different articles that I have posted on the Hive writing platform, but you didn't explain to me why you disliked them so much.
At the end of the day, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush ended up sending views my way. I mean, does he honestly believe that by attempting to boycott my articles, he is going to be able to stop people from coming from his video to my articles out of curiosity? If he truly believes that the quality of my articles are that substandard, then he obviously did not take the time to read any of them.
YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush simply assumed that my articles were devoid of any meaningful contents solely based upon the fact that he and I sharply disagree on juvenile-justice-related topics. However, if he had taken the time to read them, then he might have at least realized that he was confronting major challenges in attacking them.
Second of all, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush, I'm not afraid of you. I am well aware that there are going to be people out there who strongly disapprove of what I write and post here on the Hive writing platform. I figure that my doing so is going to produce one of two effects on my readers.
I will receive strong pushback from individuals like YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush, and I knew that I would be taking such a risk before I even started my Hive channel. Otherwise, I will manage to enlighten people like YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush, which will give me a sense of accomplishment. Of course, I'm leaving that result up to people who read my articles.
I'm not here to brainwash anyone or to fool them into anything. I link all of my articles to cold, hard facts. It is up to my audience on whether or not to believe anything that I present in any of my articles.
Nevertheless, because YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush has singled out at least six of my articles for reproach and I guess you could say that he does so as his opportunity to berate me, I'm going to elaborate on the contents of those same six articles. After all, if he didn't even read them, which I suspect that he probably didn't, then I would, therefore, possess the higher ground in defending them.
YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush? Why did you select such a long name for your user name on YouTube? Typing out your entire name in my article here is an even bigger headache than listening to all the empty-minded rhetoric in your video.
2. My Six Articles That A Hater Attacked
YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush cited my articles titled "YouTuber The Over Reactor Is Promoting Fake Pedophilia" and "Hector Vera Is Not A Danger To 14-Year-Old Girls. ETHAN FAIR IS!" Okay, I get it, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush. You're one of ex-YouTuber The Over Reactor's fans. That's your right. I'm not bashing you for making that choice. However, I found so many things wrong with the way he persecuted Hector Vera, and I had to voice my observations in that respect on my Hive channel.
Nobody is forcing you to agree with me, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush. If you don't like the contents of my two above-described articles, then don't read them. However, if you are going to criticize either one of them, at least do the world the decency of reading them beforehand and then comment on them afterwards.
YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush? You're like that one student that every one of us knew back in middle school and high school who would be assigned to read a book for a book report, and then he'd fabricate some up some vivid story without even opening the book to get himself an easy A. You may be cunning in that respect, but you're not honest.
I'm not here to defend pedophiles or child molesters. However, I will defend individuals who are falsely accused of being a pedophile or a child molester. What ex-YouTuber The Over Reactor did to Hector Vera is reprehensible and not at all funny.
In his video, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush cited my article titled "Could Deadbeat Teenage Fathers Be Worse Than Suspected Online Predators?". Hmmm. Could it be that YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush got a 13- or 14-year-old girl pregnant when he was 15 years old and then bailed on her? Or perhaps he even bullied her afterwards and brought his trashy new girlfriend to the maternity ward after his baby was born only to torment his baby mama.
Well, I won't speculate about YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush's past. However, I will stress this one point. For a nation that goes fairly easy on deadbeat teenage fathers, American society is always so ready to rush to judgment every time anyone sees a high-school girl walking down the street holding hands with a boyfriend who looks even slightly older than high-school age.
YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush? If you're reading my article, which I suspect you eventually will, answer this one question for me. If society quickly slut-shames a 13-year-old girl after she announces to her 14- or 15-year-old boyfriend that she is pregnant, what gives anyone the right to go ostracizing a 23-year-old man for dating a 17-year-old girl? Our nation reeks of such double standards.
Furthermore, YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush, for the same reasons that I would not speculate about you or your past, you should not be speculating about me or about Hector Vera or about anyone else whom you have not met personally. You might want to take that piece of advice from me to avoid needless problems.
I have emphasized this one stance of mine in various articles of mine on the Hive writing platform, and I will do so again and again. I have nothing but contempt for the psychiatric freak show, Dr. Richard von Krafft-Ebing, who conceptualized pedophilia. When he did so, he clearly had dollar signs in his eyes, and he had to have known the subsequent adverse effects his teachings would have on society.
I wholeheartedly believe that something shocking and shameful will surface about Dr. von Krafft-Ebing sooner or later. Because he has so many similarities to Dr. Hans Asperger, I predict that his professional reputation will meet the same fate as that of Dr. Asperger postmortem. The world would have been a much better place if Dr. von Krafft-Ebing had never been born.
The next article that YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush cites is my article titled "Is Pedophilia Merely A Figment Of The Imagination?". If he has a problem with this article here of mine simply by virtue of its title, then he clearly did not read it.
The title of this same article of mine is meant to be sarcastic rather than literal. You only have to read the first paragraph of that same article to know so. In no way was I seeking to condone the sexual abuse of children. At the same time, I was attempting therein to bring awareness to my readers that adolescents are well beyond the crayons-and-playground phase of their life.
In his video, the last article of mine that YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush cited was "Dating A 15-Year-Old Girl Is Not A Crime!" Is the title wrong? There are no laws against anyone of any age dating a 15-year-old girl.
Now, I am not encouraging or discouraging anyone from dating a 15-year-old girl regardless of whether he be a teenage boy or a man in his twenties or older. Different strokes for different folks and to each his own. My point therein is that if a 25-year-old man or even a 35-year-old man has a 15-year-old girlfriend and they have not had sexual intercourse with each other, what gives anyone outside that girl's family the right to go meddling into their lives? No law has been broken in that event.
Perhaps the 15-year-old girl had a bad experience with a boy her own age, and she wants to be with someone more mature than boys her own age. Heather Corinna dated a 23-year-old man when she was 15 years old, and she does not regret doing so to this very day. And, no. It has nothing to do with pedophilia, because real pedophiles have no interest in 15-year-old girls regardless of what any self-styled pop psychologist may have to say about it.
3. Some Food For Thought
YouTuber Mario Tanooki The Plush? If you're reading this article here of mine, I'm not going to hurl insults and degrading comments at you. I realize that you cannot help the way you perceive juvenile-justice-related issues or the way you are, because you have been indoctrinated to think a certain way without being able to think outside the box from an early age on.
If you respond to my article here in some way or another, I can expect that you will likely ask me the million-dollar question. That is, "if you had a 14-year-old sister, daughter, or niece, how would you feel about her dating a 25-year-old man?" I'm not going to deny that I am also a product of this toxic culture known as American society to some extent. However, there is one thing that I would like you to think through before you dismiss anything in this article here of mine as the ravings of a "white knight" or a "goon," however it is you may be defining those words. Or is it "white night"? It really doesn't matter.
Now, before I present my series of questions to you, YouTuber Mario Tanooki The Plush, I must warn you that I am going to be brutally honest about what I ask you and what I have to say to you. Here are the questions below.
What if one day you were to come home and receive a telephone call from someone at a hospital who told you that your mother was in critical condition inasmuch as a group of teenage boys had gang-raped her? Then after you go to see her at the hospital and she looks badly beaten, you find out that all of the boys who raped her were below the statutory age of consent and that she was being charged with statutory rape and would likely have to register as a sex offender for life if she were to be convicted?
Then what if it should get worse from that point on? That is, you find out that your mother is pregnant with one of these hooligans' baby?
YouTuber Mario Tanooki The Plush? You don't believe that something like this could ever happen to a loved one of yours? Well, if you don't believe it, then at least take the time to read my article titled "Can Children Sexually Victimize Adults?" After reading that article, I'm sure that you will have at least some reservations, if not misgivings, about the statutory-rape laws in our nation.
YouTuber Mario Tanooki The Plush? I perform the extra research to look into topics of this nature. However, I get the distinct impression that you get all your information about topics of this nature from video clips of "To Catch A Predator" and the likes. These "Pedophile Catchers" are not completely honest with the public. Most of them don't even know what the actual definition of pedophilia is and have never read any part of the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) that contains the real definition of it. Therefore, the name "Pedophile Catchers" is a blatant misnomer.
4. Final Thoughts
Being a blogger, a content creator, or an online journalist is always going to draw in a hater or a troll here and there. What I cannot figure out is that if someone is trying to boycott my online writings or the likes, why would they want to make a video about it? People who watch their video are going to become curious and view those online writings and content of mine.
YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush objects to my school of thought, and it is his right to do so. However, before he posts a video to belittle my online prose, he should at least take the time to read those same articles of mine that he condemns. He might learn a thing or two. Moreover, I'm not going to stop posting articles about these controversial topics I write about.
If YouTuber Mario The Tanooki Plush and anyone else don't like what I have written and posted here on my Hive channel or elsewhere, I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree. I will not be leaving this platform. End of story.
