DECORATING MY HOUSE
As for my house, I took time planed n designed what were suitable. My first decoration was for my wall which I posted 2 weeks ago. Check here
This time I focus on the dining room wall and my door entrance.
KOI FISH ART 🐟🐟
Together with my kids, we took 1 week to complete this piece by using eva foam. I chose 9 koi fish, combined the design by referring to Chinese brush painting, pop-out art, and paper cut-out craft. My kids were so enthusiastic with it.
After my kids cut out everything, I positioned before sticking it.
Here's the end result... 😇😇😇😍 With my final Chinese brush calligraphy. Haven't write any for many many years... 😅😅
As koi fish symbolise good fortune, success, prosperity and ambition. 9 Koi fish means... the '9' in Chinese mean long period of good fortune and as said above.
DOOR ENTRANCE
As my staircase facing my entrance door, it was not good in Feng Shui because it says wealth leaking out. Plus it just doesn't look nice. So I put a diy cloth room divider to block it. This time I replaced the cloth with colourful plum flowers. Took awhile to design this but in the end was satisfying. 🌸🌸🌸
