I agree with you. The lack of tools. Real tools. Not just "here is the repo, good luck" is what is needed for growth.
I am actually getting a lot of interest from a lot of indie game devs and they want a Native Unity SDK for Hive.
Every other chain has one.

I am just spinning this project up and tracking down the right people to build out a Unity SDK for Hive.

You had me at Custom JSON smart contracts. As we are building out a Unity SDK architecture the concept of Native Hive JSONs smart contracts has come up. This is something I truly believe can be done natively on chain and has a ton of interest from outside money.

I also would say we should be looking at the IBC protocol and Cosmos not just EVM's there is a lot of liquidity in Cosmos and Cosmos/EVM projects are really ramping up right now.
