Hive pumped a bit yesterday and while I was checking the pump, I decided to see if it was a BTC-enhanced pump, and wow!
I was shocked, it wasn't. Infact yesterday was a red day for BTC and so this means that whatever pumped Hive a little wasn't related to the BTC and was probably something internal, but whatever pumps Hive, no matter what it is, I think we are all happy about it.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't something mega, it's not anything life-changing, but green is a sign of life and this is what I mean.
Imagine you took someone to the hospital and they weren't breathing and flatlining and suddenly you begin to see a little wave and feel a little pulse, no matter how small it is, the sign of life no matter how faint is a positive development which will be definitely be used to revive a person.
Now the pump has completely dissipated and no longer there, but I was awake enough to snap some HBD up, and 1 hour later, the pump was all gone, it was thrilling and honestly great to see.
These patterns are always repetitive, if you stay in the US then this is mostly noon and you can always catch these pumps, if you're in most African countries and Europe, you're most likely to see them at midnight and that's just it.
This isn't a post to celebrate pumps and dumps, it's a post to remind you that a lot of people are still interested in Hive and our Korean friends at UPBIT are as well.
Although this isn't a prerequisite for what's going to come or how the market will turn out in 1 to 2 years time, my point is that there's still a lot of little gains to me made if you understand or study these patterns and then have some liquid coin at your disposal.
I'm one of the few people that believes that gains are not made when the market is pumping, they're made when no one is looking, caring or even seeing the visible opportunities that are there to be taken.
Make no mistake this is not a vain motivational statement, you can still do it all right; accumulate through the dump, sell into HBD, convert back into Hive, or just buy from the USDT you have, and then everything still fails.
The point is that these market situations can be huge opportunities, they're absolutely not rubber stamped, and these methods doesn't guarantee you success whatsoever, the point there is that while no one is doing something, you should actually try to do something, and that something is spotting out these rare patterns and opportunities and taking advantage of them.
Be present, not always available
For example some talked about the last big pump we had on Hive, they said that took advantage of that pump and actually sold into HBD, so I didn't know if they actually bought back cheaper Hive when the pump dissipated, but I was surprised because this person had not been active on Hive for months, but suddenly they know firsthand when the market pumped even though they weren't present.
This is a proof of what I meant. These opportunities will always come and some people no matter whether they're not active or not will press the buttons that are necessary and I think these are the people that will win.
Hive can still pull moves, and I think we can see that even when the market is arguably at its lowest. You don't even need to be present, you just need to put your radars in place and just come in whenever something exciting is happening. The idea of to be present when there is little or no saturation at all.
