Today I wanted to test Peakd's AI Image Content Creation - and make a comparison with other providers.
So, after a long time (I admit), I visited https://peakd.com/ai and I saw the icon below
What impressed me was:
- There is video generation, I had no idea
- There is also the possibility for creating free images and choosing from specific models (the charge for the paid models is also low)
You may choose from a variety of models, free or paid, as well as select what type of image you require

Today I will put to the test the image creation and the video creation, using a prompt that I may also use in social media
Tomorrow is April 1st, so I thought of creating a lovely spring photo
I created an AI prompt which is the below

These are the first images created. I gave it only 2, so that I would not use many credits.
For my next effort, I will check out the paid model Nano Banana 2, with a charge of 0.080 HBD - I also slightly edited the image so that it will change to a birds eye view image
I got an error message
I am not sure if I will get a refund for these amounts that were spent without getting any image, I guess there maybe a malfunction, so it would be good if there was a message to warn the user.

I think that all of them are good, it really depends on what you need and what is easier for the user
PeakD has a free version, In Ecency you need to pay 150 Points per image and the prompt can be up to 1000 characters, while Gemini, ChatGPT are limited in image creations
Please note that you can also edit an image in PeakD, using a reference image (but due to today's errors I did not put that to the test today)
Trying out the Video in Peakd
To create a video, you can choose the format, add a reference image if you want, and choose the number of seconds you want to create
I will choose VEO because I think it is better, and the cost was 1 HBD for 4 seconds without audio
For the purposes of this post I decided to create also the other video using 4 seconds of Prunaai P-Video

Overall I enjoyed the process and I will definitely do it again.
Next time I will try creating something more complex.
I think it is amazing that we can use our native currency (or points from ecency) to create AI creations and I look forward for the new agentic era.
Whether we want it or not, this is the future and we need to be prepared.
