Disclaimer : I have been away from Steem/Steemit for a couple of months, but never been outdated with the happenings here.

For a couple of months of hiatus, I feel alive again. I've been hyped since the introduction of tribes under Steem-Engine before, where sub-communities were created for specific interests. That time, I was hooked with Sportstalk Social (STS) since my interest was mainly in Sports. I have little activity with Steemit, since I can't see my posts worth supporting by authors. Maybe things will turn around this time?.
This is really a perfect time to be alive again! For the past month, we've been battling with centralization thing and it's amazing that the community *stepped-up*. This just shows that the community cannot be bought. Justin can buy the site/blockchain or whatsoever but never the interest of the community. There was a complete revolt against the Tron founder and it just created a buzz in the entire crypto space with how he governs Steem.
This is an intro post, so I'm not gonna be making very long but my hope is clear - Decentralization & Community has won the battle but my bigger hope is that Hivesters helps one another - in votes and engagement. I hope we'll bring back the 2016-2017 version of Steemit where people reward authors at the finest level. Maybe this time, things are alive again.
