Well that happened.
This is my first post on-chain for a while, and I hope to make more posts in the future, but for now, I'll have to settle for a basic update post as Curie moves onto Hive.
Quick updates: has now moved most bot infrastructure onto Hive, using hive-python (https://github.com/pharesim/hive-python), thanks a million to
for the quick release, and I can confirm our vote bot is up and working on Hive! We have retained existing Steem infrastructure, for the time being, however, if we find most of the community has moved onto Hive, that is subject to change. I am also upgrading all infrastructure onto hive-python including budgeting and payout infrastructure so that
can seamlessly transition to Hive.
It is good to see the community at large in opposition to what has happened with Steemit recently, and I look forward to the future of Hive, I am sure there will be teething issues with regards to witness voting and consensus, and development may prove to be an issue later down the road. However, I am sure these can all be figured out in the due course, and I am positively surprised that everything has panned out this well thus far. Definitely a brilliant sign for the start of the new chain!
