How to heal yourself and others.
The subject of healing and how to heal yourself is as old as humanity itself. We naturally heal ourselves on minor issues. if you have minor cuts, headaches, stomach aches, and such, they would eventually fade away and self-heal. If you have chronic diseases, however, they would require medical attention immediately.
In order to be able to heal yourself and heal others, I will have to transform your mentality on healing first, and therefore it is imperative to understand the mechanism behind the healing process. And therefore there are important keys to apply when you dive into the school of healing.
What is healing?
Besides healing, there are interchangeable terms that might confuse you when it comes to healing.
Healing is the process of making one or yourself become healthy again, in other words, it is restoring health.
So in the process of healing others or heal yourself, there could be a lot of processes in between such as; diagnosing, treatments, therapy, and cures.
- Diagnose: Are methods used to find the cause of the problem for the purpose of healing.
- Treatments; are processes towards healing.
- Therapy; are treatments towards healing.
- Cures; are substances that promote healing. Can be herbs, injections, pills etc.
It is important to differentiate these different tools, methods, and terms so that you can see the entire process clearly. That means healing can be accomplished through applying these techniques. And things like diagnosing, treatments, therapies, and cures are only vehicles of the healing process, and this is the important point as you will see later.

Energy healing refers to the method by which a person receives treatments through energy stimulation of the healing process. The sources of energy could be from a machine or another human being.
A lot of people get confused or are stubborn to only limit or assume that energy healing should only come from shamans or energy healers. But as you will see later the process is rather broader than what you think.
There are energy healing machines such as the Royal Raymond rife microscope machine, which could treat any disease by simply targeting specific frequencies on harmful gems.
There are magnetic therapy, Scalar wave machines, radionics, and many other machines that have been said to have a healing effect on patients.
Besides machines, there are natural and trained healers that use different techniques and methods to heal people; among these, there are healers such as Shamanic healing, Reiki healing, energy healers, pranic healing, miracle healers, prayer healers, and many more. The baseline here is that these healers when doing a session on you will bring a healing effect.
This article will focus more on energy healing rather than traditional medical healing. You must realize that energy healing is not limited to medical healing, as you will see later that the healing process can use different vehicles or tools to restore your health, therefore you should not limit yourself by specifically waiting for a miracle effect.
What is energy in the school of healing?
Energy in science is defined as the ability to do work, so if someone can lift up five pounds, they have enough energy to perform that work. But in the field of energy healing, it goes further than this.
Which is a fine or light substance that can bring healing effects. To understand this further you have to see light and imagination as a matter of finer matter. So by directing an intention of healing towards a specific part of yourself you are able to heal yourself or someone else.
Mind and Matter is the key to self-heal and heal others.
What is the mind?
It is a word we use every day, but it is very hard to pinpoint exactly what the mind is, it can be hard to distinguish the difference between the mind, thoughts, intention, imagination, visualization, awareness, and consciousness.
I understand that these words might be interchangeable and the meaning behind them might be different, that’s why I want to explain to get it out of the way.
Mind: The structured knowledge or memory behind a certain idea or reality.
Thoughts: Are mental processes executed by the will of a person
Intention: A force that created a certain reality.
The way we define the mind in the school of energy healing is that the mind is the world, a reality created behind certain ideas. For example, if someone believes that money is the root of all evil, there is a created reality behind this idea, and therefore this is his/her mind. This creates a certain reality in a settled way, even if you give them money, they will take it as an offense because they live in a different world from yours.
This will conclude that a person can have many realities as well as conflicting realities that at the subconscious level will bring diseases. So in healing yourself or someone it is important to settle or adjust these conflicting ideas first before you heal them physically.
Emotions as generators of Energy.
What are emotions?
Emotions Are sets of sensations or feelings which contain events, symbols, and meaning.
Sensations or feelings can be stimulated by external forces or internal forces. That is to say, the thoughts generated in your mind can stimulate sensations or feelings, as well as an external experience, which can stimulate these sensations.
If you see a lemon, you begin to salivate just as much as you think of it. The sensation of salivating is created equally by external stimuli or internal.
For these reasons, feelings or sensations are the media between internal and external reality. The bridge between your body and mind.
Behaviour is a settled or a thicker layer of emotions, an emotional memory based on a physical experience.
If you repeat a certain action over and over it becomes a habit, not a physical substance in your body but a lighter form of feeling, like being lazy, being active, and so forth. These are behaviors that we can create by overwriting existing behaviors. And it is these behaviors that. can then result in physical substances as diseases or health. where when you apply these simple techniques you can heal yourself.
For example, if you eat unhealthy food, you become fat, then you have turned your behavior into something material which is fat. But if you have a behavior of being active, and healthy eating, you are creating a fit body which is a manifestation of that behavior.
Mind over Matter - Mind And body.
Mind and matter are one and the same. Let’s take a closer look;
We have defined what is mind, that mind is a knowledge formed behind a certain idea, this idea is attached to an object, item, person, or event. Therefore, there can’t be an idea without a physical item or a body. The mind is as physical as the reality is, simply because the mind is a reflection of the internal, as well as the external perception, is the reflection of the internal. Note I used the word perception. As what you perceive is not necessarily what it is, but rather what you have identified it with.
If we speak about camping in the mountains, one person would say, I hate the mountains, the last time I was there, it was cold, our food got stolen, and we were attacked by the wild animals, and another one would say, I love the mountains, it was beautiful, I made lots of friends, and I saw beautiful birds.
The memories and experiences that we have been through are what we took or identified our reality with. Once you review these structures of mind or ideas behind the surrounding environment then you are changing your reality.
The physical reality is made up of items and activities which when we interact with them that’s when we make a sense of them. So it follows like this;
Reality consists of items and activities.
Items are identified by our sensory inputs, we feel them. A sensation of them, then we have images, smell, color, shape, and so forth. The idea of something being physical is really the sensation and experience, and that’s it, but these ideas are constructs of the mind. And it all happens inside.
If we could mentally recreate these constructs, then we have a reality. And when it comes to self-healing or healing others, it first begins with your mentality, by changing your mentality about your reality, you can then heal yourself.
In a dream, we experience everything the same, without external stimuli.
Nature of reality - The key to healing yourself and others.
No matter how small you become or how big you become you will discover that there are five patterns that repeat over and over, pattern, space, substance, movement, and mass. The pattern refers to this repetition of things, the space is understood, the substance is something like dust, soil, or some sort of material in one form or another, then you have movements of these substances, and mass which is accumulation or degree on which these substances can be.
Everything is believed to be a product of vibration, however, In order for anything to vibrate, there has to be a medium for it to vibrate, which is either space or substance.
It’s easier to use string to illustrate the interaction and formation of matter; If you have a string, with a specific length, this string will vibrate accordingly. However there are some vibrations that it can’t vibrate for two reasons, maybe it is too fast for it to vibrate or too slow. However, there is the slowest and there is the fastest. With this concept. We can assume that material is nothing more than these interacting vibrations, that when they are within the same frequencies, they can interact, but when they are out of phase, they don’t interact, the mind being the fastest vibration, the material being the slowest, but they are still on the same octave or spectrum.
So mind and body are one and the same, energy and matter are one and the same but on different poles of reality.
When you see color, you are seeing a certain frequency of light, when you feel temperature you are feeling the activity of molecules in the air, when you smell, you are smelling the interaction between different molecules in the air, when you feel something you are feeling the resistance of vibrating or circulating atoms between your body and the object.
Energy = vibration, then vibration = activities , Activities = movements = interactions
Matter = sensation of interactions, interactions = vibrating patterns = frequencies then frequencies = vibrations. Therefore matter = vibrating patterns = Energy.
The bottom line is when you realize that your physical condition is the result or product of your mental construct, which is accumulated energy, then when you change your mind, you will heal yourself and others.
The Power of Your Thoughts.

Note that earlier I said light and imagination, human thoughts are made up of light substance, why is this so? It is because they illuminate your mind, when you visualize an apple, your mind was once blank, but now it illuminates an apple, and that you can see that apple with your third eye. This is where we part ways between thoughts and imaginations.
Thoughts are merely mental processes, they are not necessarily caused by your intention, but can sometimes be random ideas flowing in your mind, which might not necessarily have any weight or effect on the physical or emotional realm.
For example, if you think, “I am hungry”, what image do you have in your mind? Most likely nothing, you just express what you feel. And as you notice this doesn’t have any force behind it to cause any effect.
But if you say I want to eat, then you are projecting an action, you are intending to do something, therefore there is a force behind that desire, which stimulates the imagination.
We can say that imagination is doing things in your mind. This is the key to generating an effect upon something.
By visualizing or creating ideas in our mind, these ideas, bring vibrational effects upon the matter, and it is by holding a certain thought in your mind, then these thoughts will create an effect upon the body or upon that which you focus on, where you will heal yourself and the ones you want to heal.
Power of focus.
We understand the mental focus, that we can elongate our awareness on a specific subject for some time, but what most people don’t know, the focus of mind can also be allocated to a specific location, time, and things. For example, you can put your awareness on your hands, your head, you can dive deeper into your head and deeper into the thoughts. This is a good tool to stay focused on one place or part.
Steps to Heal Yourself and heal others:
I had to explain those concepts because it is important to clear out some ideas and mentality before I dive into practical ways to heal yourself and others.
Always remember your mind is in a different reality, where using that kind of mind will not get you anywhere. Until you have switched it to another reality then you can do more with it.
When you want to heal yourself and others some of these things are important:
- Clear mind
- Assurance or believing in your actions
- Persistent.
- Energy
- Good heart.
Steps on how to heal yourself or others;

- Diagnosing; when you are planning to heal yourself or someone else it is important to find out what it is that they are trying to heal, though advanced healers can use their hands to detect energetic imbalance, for beginners it is important to at least know the sick part of their body. As I have said earlier, the mind is the creator of reality, if you have a few moments to check yourself or the patient and know how they feel about the healing, and their mentality, in general, will solve a lot of problems, because if they have any opposing thoughts, the healing process will not work.
- Healing modalities: This article is about energy healing, it doesn’t matter as much on the type of healing you are using, what matters is the energy behind healing. In most cases, it is not your mind that heals a person, but the energy behind the healing process, if you can channel a massive amount of energy through, then the healing process could be effective. There are healing modalities such as shamanism, crystal healing, reiki, prayer, pranic healing, and general energy healing. Here we will discuss general energy healing.
- Location and session: Usually, when you are self-healing or healing others, it is important to have a dedicated place or at least to set up a place where you can perform your healing.
- Procedure: It is important to have a procedure in general so you know when to end a session, how long it should take etc. Usually the procedure during the session, as in most cases people diagnose first and let their clients know if they wish to proceed so they can book an appointment, and for self-healing, you would decide first what to heal about yourself then you proceed with a session. The procedure consists of three steps:
- First is relaxation, exactly how long you should relax? Until you reach a state where your mind is clear and receptive, this is important because you can receive intuitive messages and also you can channel energy through you.
- The second step is to channel energy, as for advanced healers they know what color of energy, symbols to use, etc, but for you just channel healing energy. Remember whatever idea you hold in your mind, that’s the type of energy you will channel. How long should you channel energy? Not long, you channel until you feel energized. And you would channel by seeing this universal healing energy feeling your hands (because you are going to use these hands to heal), alternatively, you will let the energy flow and accumulate the part of your body that you want to be healed.
- After feeling energized, you will direct the energy where you want healing, so in this step, if you are healing someone or your pet, you will use your hands to feel that universal healing energy flowing through your hands towards your patient. You can repeat steps 1 to 3 until you feel better.
- Those three steps mentioned above are the long process, the short one is to relax, once you have relaxed, you just project and feed a radiance of healing, love surrounding you; The longer you stay in this bliss, the faster the healing will happen. And if you are trying to heal someone else, you just project that sensation towards them.
- That’s it, now you know how to heal yourself and others. The importance and caution to this is you do it until it happens, don’t do a couple of trials, and expect a miracle. And another important thing is once you have done a session, remember that these are energies, and energy is equal to activities or movement, maybe once you heal someone you have unblocked part of their life that was causing that ailment. So what would end up happening is they would find a remedy, a cure, or treatment that will get rid of the physical manifestation of that disease, then this person would come back saying that ooh that doctor cured me. Not knowing that things happened in the energetic levels first.
