The usual morning rituals done, time went by fast. Summertime setting, one hour less sunday. Woke up at five to notice it was six. One of my morning rituals is checking CoinGecko. Not much movement on the first page. Then search for Hive, that helps it getting noticed as 'most searched'. The coffee ☕ is not working yet. What I see, I cannot yet comprehend. What my eyes see takes more than a jiffy to sink in. No way, close to 1 USD...!?
Freakin' awesome! But wait, first I have to know about the one which name we shall not mention. YES!!! Finally it happened, the flippening, as it should. Of course there will be reasons how this came about. My guess is the smart stuff, on the DeFi side of Hive, giving it some major attention. The needed boost to blast into deep space? Sure, the moon is overcrowded anyway.
Now I am no expert on all that DeFi stuff. Nor will I ever be. It just wont get inside my brain. But others do get it and that might have given Hive the boost it deserved anyway. Smart stuff added using side-chained contracts. Also published on the Hive blockchain for everyone to see. Had a look, did not grasp it. But it works and that is worth the kudos to whomever make it happen.
The Hive blockchain has a lot of potential. A lot can be done with it and more will come. Hive as a Media and Apps Platform, no transaction costs, 3 second blocks. BAM, Alpha Centauri, here we go!
