I’m a lover of pet dogs, especially small indoor breeds like lhasa apso. I have two cute Lhasa Dogs, Lilo and Rocky. I don't have a picture of Rocky yet, he's still a puppy.
Notice our eye color is the same.
If you are a lover of pet dogs, I highly recommend this breed, although fair warning they can be very troublesome, but still worth it. My hobbies are very few, watching movies would be the very top on my list, music is a close second, oh I should have mentioned earlier, I’m an introvert, most times I’m indoor trying to write or draw. I enjoy going out and socializing too but that depends on my mood. Most of my time I spend it by myself, trying to create more art and also trying to express some of my ideas through writing. I highly recommend you reading some of my articles, they are short and precise, I bet you will find it interesting.
I’m a full-time artist and photographer now, although I’m more of an artist than photographer (photography for me is more of a hobby than a profession).
As I'm sure my fellow Nigerians know that hardly do you make a career out of what you studied in school in this country. My major in high institution was in Aeronautical science, I wanted to build my career in the aviation industry, but due to some reasons I was unable to.
How I became an artist and a writer
After I left school, I decided to try and explore my other talents, which I have been suppressing for a long time. I knew I could draw and I knew I had a gift for writing but I never really took the time to develop them. So, overtime they went dormant. I won’t sugarcoat it, trying to rediscover one’s self is one of the hardest things there is, after years of having a singular goal, then deciding to move in a different/opposite direction is really hard. But the perfect opportunity came around during COVID-19, when everyone was locked indoor. The gift of Isolation that COVID gave all of us, I used it to rediscover and reinvent myself. A gift which I will never forget. So right now, I am fully committing to being an artist and writer. After discovering the power that art and words have, I became intrigued and from there the passion ignited.
Let me give you a piece of an artist mind,
My job is to translate experiences into a profound work of art, to communicate an idea so simply that the meaning is seen and so elegant that the artist’s touch is appreciated. I bring to life an imagined concept that represent either an experience or a feeling.
I’m also a writer, I write articles about different things, like relationships, life, pain, the way a society works, spirituality, etc. you know…the usual stuffs, smiles.
Why did I join hive?
When it comes to my writings, I am very passionate, when I get a fresh wave of idea or opinion about something, I quickly jot it down and then work on the idea, as soon as I’m done, I eagerly share them with my friends and people close to me. My friend who is a member here on “HIVE”
So, there we are, it’s not possible for me to compress who I am into a 700+ word post, but you will come to know me more from the things I post and share. So, I hope you all welcome me warmly to the platform. Thank you.
