I had a few beverages last night, because I felt like it, and now I'm a bit hungover!
Drunken
Artistically slightly blurred
I didn't intend to drink quite so much, I out it down to it being so nice and sunny outside, and due to these unusual times.
Like most of the rest of the nation I defined a trip to the shops to get apples and oranges as 'essential' and topped up with a bottle of wine and some beers. Then when 17.00 came around and I'd had quite a productive day (I don't do Bank Holidays) I cracked open my bottle of Pinot. I don't remember the last time I drunk a bottle of wine at home, it must be over two years.
I polished that off pretty quickly, I mean it's like squash, wine, and if you drink it in a large enough glass, then three glasses is all you get out of a bottle.
I then opened one of three beers I had, that slipped down very easily, so I polished off another two.
At this point I was slouched in front of the T.V. watching RED and getting beaten on Splinterlands - which is more about me being generally a bit crap at the game rather than my being drunk.
I'm a bit hungover today as a result and so I'm using this opportunity to have a day off. I've cancelled my usual Saturday to do list.
Hungover and a Day Off
I woke up early around 5.00, like I usually do the night after, forced some tea and toast down my neck at 6.00 and then headed out to Tesco (again) for another essential shop (no beer this time), then back to bed, then up for second breakfast of pastries and Tea and it was around 11.00 when I decided to abandon my chores list.
It's now 15.30 and all I've done today is mess around on Hive and Splinterlands, not getting beaten quite as much as yesterday thankfully.
It's a mild hangover.
It's kind of odd having a day off, I might have another one tomorrow and properly kick start my meditation.
Slow on Hive
I've found the last couple of days that Hive is whirring: my replies take about 2-3 seconds to load up, anyone else experiencing the same?
Anyone know what the problem is: do some of the witnesses need to upgrade their hardware maybe, or the guys?
The tech isn't the only thing that's slow.... there's not a lot going on here atm, in terms of blogging I mean.
Nor in terms of development. I guess people are still shoring things up after the Hard Fork. Maybe I should just be grateful things are actually working?
