since a short time I am using the Kanibot extension for Discord.
Kanibot is a blockchain monitoring and notification service found at https://kanibot.com/ .
The Kanibot will contact you via private message in Discord and notify you when you get an upvote or curation rewards. Not only that, there are currently many services that the bot has already implemented, but I still have one or two ideas to make the service even more elegant:
Watchlist for Users
A watchlist could appear in the menu to enable the following functions as well:
searches the current block to see if a particular person ( previously entered in the watchlist) has posted.
The list could be matched with the current hive user list and an auto-completion could be integrated.
for example i added these screenshots you might be easier to understand.
As already described, a watchlist to enter names that are then matched with the blockchain to get a notification in Discord when a certain person has written a post.
Tag-Watch
- As with the function for users, you could also integrate a tag watchlist with which you can set community-relevant tags, for example. An example would be #deutsch for the German speaking community on Hive.
Word-Watch
Since I already know many people from my area on Hive and they mostly write location specific posts or other topics where keywords are a feature, here would be interesting a word watchlist that monitors posts and can also give a message in Discord.
Everyone loves dark mode
Here it needs probably less explanation, Darkmode should be probably a name for everyone. Maybe you could take over the darkmode in the color spectrum of Discord so that kanibot.com and the notification in Discord are color-coordinated with each other.
These are a few features that could be integrated into the Kanibot and will certainly be well received (especially the darkmode :) ).
