Code Hive #8 Results Are 3 Months Overdue. Participants Deserve an Answer

I am Sara Kotian, and I participated in the Code Hive #8 hackathon organized by Hive India. I built IndieHive, a platform for independent developers to showcase projects, receive funding in HIVE or HBD, and find contributors within the Hive ecosystem. It was built using React, the Hive SDK, and Hive Keychain, and was submitted on December 17, 2025 before the official deadline.

I genuinely enjoyed building for this hackathon and wanted to contribute something meaningful to the Hive ecosystem. I am writing this post simply because I have not been able to get an update through any other channel.
The timeline as announced was:
Submission Deadline: December 17, 2025
Presentations: December 19 and 20, 2025
Winners Announced: December 22, 2025
It is now March 2026. Several participants including myself have asked for updates on the official Discord but have not heard back. There is no post from the organizers explaining a delay either.
I understand things come up and timelines slip. That happens. A short update from the organizers saying what is going on would go a long way. The participants put real effort into their submissions and are just looking for some closure.
