First of all, before I start anything…
These capsules for the 1/10th gold coins are immortal lol.
No matter what I did I just COULD NOT get the darn thing open.
The picture would have been so much cooler when you see how tiny this coin really is compared to the equivalent amount of silver.
Leave comments below about tricks that can open these capsules without damaging them… or else I might just have to buy another coin just for posts lol.
Right now, as of writing, we have a silver price of $23.16 and a gold price of $1,971.61 giving us a 1:85 gold to silver ratio.
To show you what this looks like in real life I present you one 1/10th oz gold map leaf along side 8.5 ozs of silver.
The silver is being represented by seven 1 oz silver maple leafs and a 1.5 oz maple leaf coin giving us our 1:85 ratio.
I will surely get a new coin so I can show you guys the true difference between such a small gold coin vs these chunky silver coins.
So the other day I did a mini metal audit and I have almost exactly 1:50 gold to silver in my holdings.
I find this a really good ratio to have so basically if I buy that 1/10th oz gold coin I should also grab 5 ozs of silver to keep that ratio the same.
Is there a specific ratio you like to keep with your metals?
