The News
It is a fun time in crypto as prices keep dipping. I always say that Hivers should ride out these waves if they are powered up. Just keep building cool things that will add value. That can be communities, onboarding people, posting about Hive on other platforms or even just talking to people about it. We need more awareness if we want growth. The gap has closed between $HIVE and the 'legacy coin' when the other one should be worthless by now. We know where the progress is.
As usual you can get more news from the weekly post by . We each find some different things each week.
also does a weekly roundup that tends to be more about his own investments, but that may give others some ideas. He also just joined the 100k HP club! That club now has almost 200 members.
are teasing the idea of customisable sites built on Hive. We already have Breakaway communities that allow for a community to have a dedicated site, but I think this new project may have a different bias. People may want a personal blog or a company site that gives them more control over what appears whilst still making use of Hive as the storage medium. I know some people think you need to host everything yourself for complete control, but with a blockchain you get that whilst not having to host the data.
are gathering votes on The Dapp List for another Hive project. Getting them to rank better can get attention.
The next Hive Power Up Day is almost here. I think I have managed to not miss one so far. You only need to power up 10 $HIVE to qualify and get a badge.

had some thoughts on the security of some Hive dapps. How we log into the various sites is important as we do not want to leak our keys, but most of us will not understand the risks. We need people who can explain the risks.
The End
I have had a busy week and so have not looked too deep into Hive happenings. That means no Dog House for now, but people can suggest candidates.
I am approaching nine years on Hive and I still find it fun. That comes from finding cool people to follow who post things I am interest in. When you find something cool then be sure to give genuine feedback so they feel appreciated. Hive is not just just about what we can get for ourselves. Selfishness could kill it.
