The News
I skipped the #FollowFriday post last week as I was busy at the weekend and wanted to do the #BritList. I am back again with it now.
There is not too much action on the $HIVE price, but it is slowly creeping up for now. On Coingecko you can vote coins up and down. It may not have much effect, but it would be good to see our favourite coin riding high. You do not have to sign in and can vote every few days. If more people make it a weekly habit then it should stay up. Obviously some people are less supportive.
$LEO is still having a fun ride. There has been some discontent in their community over how it gets treated in Hive, but I would hope they stick with us.
Friday Follows
- Hive has big potential in specific niches. Wrestling is very popular and
have been publicising Hive at events.
- Hive rally driver
took his car to an event in Germany where it got plenty of attention.
- I mentioned
last time, but he put out this video this week. I know he plays with other crypto, but he has been loyal to Hive for many years and we have met at a few events in London. He has thousands of YouTube subscribers and the video had hundreds of views. A few more favourable comments and likes could help.
We also have communities that can be fun:
- There is a community for fans of Snaps from
.
- I created a drumming community where you can find some professional musicians. All drummers are welcome there.
The Dog House
have a warning about a dodgy looking service that said it could give you some extra $HIVE if you sent some over. I can see that a few people did and they did get the promised 1%, but the owner may just be trying to build some credibility. I would be very suspicious of something that has no obvious backing of known Hivers. They have done all communication via transfers so that they cannot be downvoted.
is doing some tiny transfers to warn people.
People do not generally give money away so be cautious. The return on this is tiny and you can do better by powering up for curation rewards.
The End
You can always find drama on Hive, but most people are having fun here. I embrace the positive aspects and support people where I can. Some people seem to think that I hold grudges against them, but that is just not true. I prefer to communicate in public so others can judge for themselves.
Hive five!
