The News
The 'battle' between red and blue continues with neither really breaking away. I have seen plenty of people pointing out issues with Hive. There is the DHF funding going to projects that may not benefit us much. There are issues with downvotes, but the scale of that may be exaggerated. I know there are various personal conflicts around that, but I am most definitely not involved. I do know that there are plenty of spam, impersonation and plagiarism cases that need to be dealt with.
Of course the low price is a concern, but I think that is partly down to Hive still being largely unknown. I am no expert on marketing, but I think it would help if people engaged more with other crypto projects and companies who do join us. The 'cryptosphere' is our best chance for what would still be early adopters as they will mostly understand the concepts of keys and tokens. I think we also have a lot of users who have less experience of those, but who still manage to use Hive on a daily basis. We need a wide range of content to appeal to a broad audience. I find plenty to enjoy and the social aspect is really important to me. As things stand you may be less inspired by the rewards, but then billions use other platforms whilst earning nothing. We need that critical mass of users so that everyone can find their community. We can start out in specific niches and build on that.

is one of the key players of Hive who is into building things. His latest is to crowdsource AI processing. I do not have the hardware to contribute, but there could be potential to earn from contributing.

has represented Hive at events around the world. She is now asking for some funding in a proposal. That has provoked some discussion, but we can each make our own decisions on that. People should be aware that voting up the Return Proposal raises the threshold for getting funded.
There are lots more things going on around Hive and I cannot include them all here. I do re-blog posts that I think will be of interest. I recommending following communities that cover your interests so that you do not need to follow all the individuals who may post on a topic.
The End
I plan to generate a fresh #BritList over the weekend. I have done that every month for several years now and I have scripts that make it fairly simple for me. I have said that I do not have time to do regular lists for other countries, but I am prepared to help others get started on doing that themselves. I think it can help in connecting people and organising events.
I am always happy to answer questions so feel free to send them my way. I do not have all the answers, but then I am always learning from others.
