I know some consider this an unlucky day, but you can be lucky any time on Hive if you have enough support. Most of us will never make a cent on Youtube or other platforms, but even a comment can earn here. We need to keep growing the community so more people can be earning. I am sure many would appreciate any extra income in these difficult times. Even a certain soon-to-be ex-president may need the money and he may find himself banned from the mainstream services. I have seen talk of an exodus to Parler, but it seems that is not decentralised and you can be censored there too. Hive cannot be censored. The front ends may have to block accounts if local law insists, but the blockchain is decentralised and you can put up your own site if you like.
It has dipped a bit now, but the HIVE price was touching 14c yesterday. That is some improvement on recent performance.
Data from
Yesterday I worked on updating the list of Hivers/Hivians in the UK that used to maintain. I have found a few to add, but some are inactive. There are about 80 of us, which is just over one in a million. Lots of growth potential.
The two main Hive sites have stalled a bit on growth according to Hypestat. They seem to get lots of visitors, but few are actually logged in. There are really just a couple of thousand actually posting. We need to improve on that.
The big news this week is that @HiveFest is happening next month. Of course actual meet-ups are not really possible, but is setting it up in AltspaceVR. You can get an immersive experience if you have the appropriate hardware, but you can still get involved on a normal PC screen. It seems to work with Windows and Apple. I usually use Linux, but tested it in Windows 10 on my old PC that has built-in graphics and it worked pretty well. You may want to get set up ahead of time.
And so to my weekly suggestions of people to check out. These will all be from the UK this time and include some I found whilst compiling the list.

We have several Hive witnesses in the UK, so please consider giving them a vote. There are a lot of inactive witnesses, so check that your votes are going to those who are actually contributing.
Check out
. Your support means a lot to them.
If you know of any more people in the UK then please let me know. Eventually we will start meeting up in person again.
Have a great weekend and Hive five!
