The News
I have been travelling over the holidays and so have been posting less on Hive, although I have been checking the feed and commenting. It has been interesting to see what stats people have been posting about their year using tools like Hive Wrapped by . There was also a summary of the biggest earners by
. I do okay, but I did not make the top 100 for post rewards.
I have generated the price charts for the last year and it is clear that $HIVE has lost some ground. We have to hope that people will find more reasons to buy it in 2026. I had to remove $BLURT from my script as it is no longer listed due to lack of activity. It has only been getting around $100 of trading each day compared to millions for $HIVE.
There is a great summary of some projects on Hive from . I was not really aware of some of them.
I did hear about a new game called . You can use cards from
in it.
Friday Follows
I recommended many people to follow last year, so I will just suggest that you go through some of the old #FollowFriday posts this week to find interesting accounts. Other people have used that tag, but it does not look like anyone is recently. There may be other posts that suggest who to check out so see what you can find. Anyone can do a post like this to help people connect. I have just done these posts for years as it is interesting to compile them and others find them useful.
I may look into creating some other scripts to use in the posts. Using I could see who I have interacted with most or who is attracting the most comments. We have access to all that data and should make good use of it.
The End
I will skip The Dog House this week, but I expect I will find more candidates this year. The freedom of Hive means that people will try to exploit it, but others will seek to defend it.
I do plan to do a fresh #BritList tomorrow. I have other things to write up soon including my latest travels and I need to report on how my solar panels did over a whole year. Although I have nothing to sell I can find plenty to write about here and we really are free to post what we want. You just have to find your audience.
